It isn't bigoted. The man made a life choice which has it consequences, one is the fact that he chooses to not reproduce in a natural manner. The natural reproductive process exists for a reason and is fundamental in the ideal upbringing of a child, foor natural learning, progression and development the presence of both mother and father is essential. Im not some religious zealot,in fact i would describe myself bordering extremely agnostic to militant atheist, however I cannot agree with this. the child really has no say in it and he is counting on his parents first and foremost for a balanced educational upbringing. I am not gay-bashing here, homosexuality exists and any person brought up in a normal and balanced educational environment will recognise this and will be able to make their own balanced view on the subject (i recognise that the other extreme exists and there is an unbalanced antigay element as well e.g. Westboro baptist church) but the adopted child in question will not be able to recognise what is normal and what is not and will be growing up with the attitude that homsexuality is the norm, which it unarguably is NOT! The child will suffer psychological and social consequences. Puberty is tough enough for christ's sake. So people crying out that it isn't fair on the gay couple wo have made their choices in life, stop for a minute and think of the child who has no say in it all.
I was just making an observation after reading this thread. You claim Dev is a racist for saying that Black couples should not be allowed to adopt white babies, but I bet you'd refuse accusations of homophobia, even though your argument is just as illogical. Just a thought for you, do you think children would be happier in a care home with no parents at all and no sense of belonging whatsoever, or in a caring family with two gay, male parents? And If Children really would bully another child over his parents sexual orientation, then I think that says more about the upbringing the bully had, rather than the upbringing the adopted child had.

Granted but your talking about specific cases, im talking averages and environmental conditioning can quite often be of a greater influence on the individual than genetics and I can guarantee you this type of conditioning will show up in higher incidences of people choosing homosexuality than in a more neutral environment.

There is no difference in their behaviours whatsoever, it's a misconception that Children need a Mother and Father in their lives. ANY two parents (perhaps even one) whatever their sexual preferences can bring up a child, being gay does not mean they cannot be good parents.
