The funny thing about this game is England will get all the usual abuse but for 60 mins they actually played pretty well. A very inexperinced team showed alot of promise. I thought Sterling and Wellback were excellent. But Zlatan single handidly won this game - That was unbeileveable. Imagine how good this guy would be if he had a decent attitude and work ethic.
I didnt actually see the goal till this morning but its funny , my lads were watching the game and i said to them , there are 22 players on that pitch , 21 of them are footballing donkeys , and one is a footballing god. There are only a few players in the game today that can claim to be a clear class above the dross. He is in there . Who else is in that rare class in todays footy ?
Yeah. Its mainly about vastly Superior technique and vision. Messi & Ronaldo of course. Henry, Ibrahimovic, Pirlo, Xavi. Maybe also .. RVP, Falcao, Cavani and Neymar.
He's always had the ability to be the best striker in the world, and i don't mean one of the best, i mean "the" best. He has absolutely everything, his touch and technique is out of this world, he can finish with either foot and he is physically strong and great in the air and is no slouch, it's always been about his attitude and temperament, it's a shame really that he never reached the heights that his talent and ability merited.
Hate the way the English scribes and pundit dis this guy by saying he is rubbish. Truth is he has a fantastic success record, and if he were English those same pundits would be drooling over him.
Our 3-0 win against Milan last season was one of those games from Ibra. He must have had more offsides than touches in that game.
