If I had Zlatans chance, Id expect to be able to score that 1 in 10. Id be lucky to get 1 in 100 with sinclairs chance as the ball was coming across him and there was a goalie there and he was running away from goal.

It's being massively over hyped. The best part about that goal is his awareness to stop running and judge where Hart's going to head the ball. After that, it's all a bit meh. Acrobatic but that's about it.

Overheads arent that hard, especially with the ball just dropping down softly and no goalie there.

That's like saying Maradona's solo goal against England in 86 is about pace and that's it.

ZI's goal was good but not a patch on Sinclair's for the reasons stated above.

Anyone who thinks Ibrahimovic's goal wasnt any good is kidding themselves....that was a great, great goal that takes A LOT of skill to pull off......let alone get it in the back of the net....goalkeeper or not.

For a start the angle is a difficult one.....he judged Harts poor header perfectly and then executed it to perfection.

There is no point in comparing it to Sinclairs...just sit back, clap your hands and say "wow, quality goal" specticals like that are few and far between.

Could you see Zamora doing that? :D

That must be the best ever post on this forum, love it Flyer <ok> <laugh>

    from Steven Gerrard:

"I thought we did well considering the team we put out and the squad we brought here. Sometimes, you have to put your hands up to individual performances.

"I have been playing football a long time but Zlatan's fourth goal is probably the best goal I have seen live. I cannot pay a bigger tribute than that.

BBC Radio 5 live pundit Pat Nevin on Zlatan Ibrahimovic: "When he is on his form, and when he can be bothered, he is fantastic. His technique for that fourth goal was off the scale.

"The second goal was fantastic, and for the third goal, Joe Hart was at fault, but the power he got from 33/34 yards was spectacular. He is a hard, hard player to play against.

"In that form, it is hard to see anyone much better than him. His fourth goal was beyond perfection, it was magical."

BBC Radio 5 live pundit and former England manager Graham Taylor at the Friends Arena:
"Ibrahimovic scores exceptional goals. This last goal, his fourth goal, was an exceptionally gifted, talented goal.

England manager Roy Hodgson on ITV: "No doubt Ibrahimovic's fourth goal was extraordinary.

You're sure one special player Flyer, ever thought of lending the R's a helping hand? Would be much appreciated :)

None of our players would even attempt that as its been coached out of them, better to keep possession and stop the other team from countering.

Of course.... Ibrahimovic is a quality striker....he might seems bit lazy, but he is so strong and his shooting and the power he gets behind the ball is unreal!

Ive scored a better goal than that, the goalie place kicked it and I volleyed it back over his head from the halfway line. At no point did the ball touch the ground. Wondershots dont impress me precisely for that reason because any half decent player can score them. Its the Messi type goals that impress me more.

I dont think that should even make the goal of the year shortlist.

Hes a mental and more arrogant version of Berbertov. Unreal skill but now might go the next 10 games without scoring.

I hope you dont think any old player could score that goal Ibrahimovic just scored? Or Rooneys scissor or Trevor Sinclairs bycycle? Those goals take massive skill and technique.

I scored an overhead goal fom the edge of my own 18 yard box once. At no point did the ball touch the ground until it went in off of the bar. <whistle>
