They definitely did say the U19 boys had pulled out of that match, and they seem to have deleted the tweet and edited the news articles on the site that said that.

Maybe crossed wires? Or a bit of a u-turn by the club?

    Ha ha, it's like 1984!

Delete the information and it never happened!

Watching the U21 game, Clyne is on the bench, I'd have thought he will get a run out in the 2nd half, it's a pretty dull match! Highlight so far was Connor Wickham splitting his eyebrow open, here's hoping for the 2nd half!

So, Yoshida got played through in the penalty area, cut the ball back and Kiyotake slotted past Al-Habsi from 6 yards, 0-1 HT.

Also an Oman striker tried a "Maya special" overhead kick, missed the ball and kicked (the real) Maya in the head. <grr>

Ramirez is on the bench for Uruguay, prob not a bad thing, but a bit of a run out would prob do him good.

He played the whole 2nd half? I can't see any actual commentary on the game anywhere, so can't see how anyone would know?

I watched the last half an hour, the commentary was in Spanish and the quality wasn't very good but he didn't seem to go off.

There does seem to be some chatter on twitter about him, if anyone speaks Spanish they may have more luck finding out.

From what I've read he replaced Cavani after 46 minutes and played the whole second half. You'd have thought they'd have subbed him off if he got injured

Just flicked through video of Poland v Uruguay...settled on Ramirez putting in a rubbish corner towards end of game!! Presumably he must be regarded as a decent corner taker or Uruguay wouldn't let him take them. However, important bit...he walked off and both legs are still attached. Suarez had a great game.
