So Ryan does not start tonight. Instead debuts for Caulker, Sterling and Osman. Osman gets his first call-up (age 31) and steps straight in, Caulker also. And Sterling has played a handfull of games for Liverpool. It's rather disappointing for me. If Ryan does not get any game time at all tonight,in a friendly, then I fear he will not will not get a cap anytime soon. What happens tonight could impact on his future and could lead him to want to move on either in January or next summer.
No not really Smithers, he was caught out for the equaliser but he had only been on for a minute. The 3rd and 4th goals however were excellent strikes by Zlatan.
I dont lay much blame on the lad to be honest he was only on for about a minute and was up against one of the best strikers in the world, i blame hart for the other 2 goals no way should he let that free kick in.
Well that went a bit pear shaped, not the debut that you would want but an awkward time to come on late with them chasing the game.
I agree that it is difficult to get staright into the game especially agaimst a player of that quality. However, he was easily turned and I dont think that will be favourably looked on by RH. I just feel for the lad because he should have been playing 18 months ago when he was playing much better and you are onlay as good as your last game - especially at international level.
