I disagree that even on paper they're easier tbh, as you've got 3 winnable home games (Wigan, Southampton & Villa) & the 3 tough away fixtures already mentioned. Compared to 3 winnable home games that you had in your last 6 games (Stoke, Reading & Newcastle) plus 2 tough aways (Everton & Chelsea) & Norwich away which you'd have fancied.

There's not much 'banter' full stop on this thread is there? Just name calling & inane bollocks from what I can see. Sorry if I may strayed into football chat. I'll refrain next time & stick to 'FFS' <inanesmiley> type posts

 

There's always the option of talking football to yourself on the Everton board.

 

Our squad pretty much gave up after we lost to Arsenal though! (Outside the FA cup games, haha).

West Ham without the player their team is built around for our game as he's on loan from us, Spurs patchy home record this season & Swansea are a good side but hardly Barcelona, and we should be looking to beat teams like them in the season.

West Ham have got a decent understudy in Cole though tbf. Spurs are unpredictable, AVB is a lucky man to be anywhere near a top PL job imo & so who knows what you'll face there, albeit they do have a really strong squad. Swansea are beatable if you set out you stall to stop them playing & look to dominate them. If he wants a battle of the 'tippy tappy' then you could come unstuck as they've got better penetration than you at present imo.

 

I think we will lose to Spurs if (and that is a big if at the moment) AVB sets his team up in the right way.

We should be beating West Ham and Swansea but we al know too well that these are tough games for us considering our record

 

This is a genuinely serious question. Why are you so constantly vitriolic? You rarely demonstrate any humour in your posts, rather attempting to bring people down with snide comments. I'm sure there's a human side to your psyche. Why not show it now and again? It's an endearing quality.

 

You reap what you sow, so if my posts in respone to you appear vitriolic, then maybe that could have something to do with the content or the tone of the post to which I'm replying (see above for example). I'm not snide btw, if I think you're a **** I'll tell you straight.

It's not just me. It's the same with everyone. Swarbs has a similar approach in bringing people down, but he includes humour. I don't think I've ever seen a post of yours with a trace of humour in it.

Anyway. Everton are playing very well at the moment.
