Hi guys, im here in peace <ok>

Well I think its safe to say that both your team and our team have had very bad starts. Obviously the 3 points taken from us in our meeting would make us look a bit better but enough about that now.

Whats the reason for your bad start? Manager? Signings? Injuries? Bad luck?

For us, all of the above :(

Now you have a new man in charge for the rest of the season, how do you think this will change your fortunes? Will you improve do you think? What do you think you need to improve?

Where do you honestly think you will end on the table?

    <ok>

Well Capt Jack it's a long story!
Waddock (in my opinion) should have gone last season. His signings have generally been abysmal leading to us last season relying heavily on loan players and we still went down. This season he just lost the dressing room. No passion or fight in our play. Also the WWFC trust have taken back control of the club from Steve Hayes, meaning we have no choice but to turn around a position of 6 years of loss making. We were losing around £1m a year under Hayes which he held over us as loan notes. Although in the deal, the trust got much of the debt written off, we still owe a couple of mill and have still to address the ongoing loss making. In fairness the trust are addressing this. This means that the club is pretty skint so can't afford players or loanees. The squad is massively depleted as we have had more first team injuries than I ever remember in a league season. We have no youth scheme anymore as it was scrapped due to lack of funds and those youngsters remaining have been forced in to the first team probably too early or too frequently due to our injury position.
Ainsworth seems a good appointment and has brought fight and passion back, but we desperately need many players back fit if we are to survive and pull away from the drop zone.
On a positive, we own our club and ground again and will probably flirt with danger for the next few years. We couldn't carry on with the sugar daddy approach, especially as everything he invested he held over us as loan notes. He could have potentially thrown us to the administrators at any time.
Sad thing is that many craved the trust ownership and stated they accepted that we would have to seriously consolidate on and off the pitch, but the support is waining. We had our lowest ever Saturday football league attendance last week of 3022 against Rochdale.
Where do I think we will finish?
I reckon just out of the drop zone. If we are lucky enough to get a settled side, then maybe somewhere near mid table.

waddock made some very poor signings and this started us off badly... in general though i think our position is down to luck with injurys, at one stage our injured XI was better than the one we could actually field!

Slasher has summed it up nicely.

Although it's unthinkable I think we will do very well to avoid the drop zone now. Hopefully we can have a bit more luck injury-wise and climb a few places to safety.

I imagine it will go down to the last day with Wycombe just surviving. We'll have to see what happens when injured players return.

Considering everything that’s gone on off the pitch at Adams Park this season. And the general feeling around the club a good finish for us would be 14th to about 19th.

I'd be well happy with that after the start we've had. <ok>

Said this on another thread but to survive 51 points is required. Presently with 19 and improving form it is possible which a few weeks ago looked difficult.
