Fair enough if he doesn't want to wear the poppy! People from his community were killed by members of the British Army! I can totally understand his stance. And anyway, why is it such a big deal if he doesn't want to wear it? Why can't you respectfully remember the people who died in silence, why do the media/public have to force the poppy on everyone? Musty my father was taken prisoner of war in Crete with a load of Anzac's fighting Facism. I always wear my poppy and remember. The money raised by the sale of the poppies goes to charity for those who fought. Two reasons I wear my poppy. You can make your own choice in life in the democracy where you live, the fact you have a choice is because of the sacrifice of previous generations. Personally I couldnt care less what you think, the fact is the overwhelming majority support the troops, its those people I'm thankful for. Dig deep and support our troops, give til it hurts to Help for Heroes.

Rubber and Phil are like the pond life I have come across, leaches and ticks. Both bury their heads and suck the blood from the host. You have to be very careful removing them otherwise an infection can occur which puts the host at risk. We all prefer it when they scuttle back under their rocks.
