I am with PGF on this one - this will be tough game for the Swans and if we haven't got Chico back then I can see you getting a couple of goals (probably from set pieces). So could be 2-1 to the Toon but we could grab a couple on the counter which would make my weekend but its unlikely.

I ca see you've done your homework <laugh>

Enjoy the game anyway mate! <ok>

Also, Katmandu, why are you always asking people if they want to fight you? If they did, I'm sure you'd be the first one to admit you'd lose <laugh>

Definitely no Obertan, please. Prefer Sammy, if this tactic was used.

Tino's Treble like the look of your team. Our problem this season has been the final ball, its either hit too hard/too high, or played in behind the strikers. I don't think we are actually that far away from given a team a hammering. IF we got an early goal(just for a change) think a players would relax, b the crowd would get right up for it.
Also don't believe all the negativity against Pardew. For what ever reason yet again we spent peanuts in the summer, i am sure he must have been asking for more. This January window is very important for us, as we need more players, squad too small, and some players are not up to it.

Isn't Sammy carrying a Hammy injury at the moment?

    I'd play this -

    -------Ba------Cisse--------

    Ferguson---------------Ben Arfa

    -------Tiote-----Anita-------

    Santon--Willo---Saylor---Simpson

    ------------Krul---------------

We need to make sure we get our passes right because you can be sure that Swansea will.

    No Cabaye?

I'd switch him in for Cisse and go 4-2-3-1.

I think, if we draw, it'll be 0-0. However, I have had a sudden change of heart, and the pig's one tells me it'll be an easy 3-0 job...

    600 rep for that. <ok>

Then again, You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Pulp again.

Maybe not just yet, but I owe you.

    That made me laugh.

We haven't scored from a set piece in 14 months I believe. You can be sure that you wont concede from a set piece unless one of your players is a geordie and wants to score for us.

I think we can win, because we've had the time to get refuled and plan properly.

    2-1.

    Ferguson-----------Ben Arfa

    ----------Tiote----------

    Santon-Willo--Saylor--Simpson

    ------------Krul------------

Well I'd actually 4-3-3, but Pardew wont, so there's no point in discussing it.

Not predicting a result for this, (not that I ever do, being the jinx that I am), wondering how long it is since Glamexile watched us play, scoring from set pieces, <yikes> That and the fact we seem to be unable to string a couple of passes together at the moment, it's a little worrying.
I'm confident Tiote will make a diffference for us, and unlucky for Swansea, they'll be without Vorm and Ki, but I'm hoping Michu will be off the boil, and we don't have the usual scenario of explayers scoring against us, not sure how regular a starter Routledge is for the Swans, but I always rated him.

Same here! Championship season we were boring, rigid and just grinding out results every week. The talk on these sites (think we were all still on BBC 606 then?) was winnining vs entertainment. Then we sign Routledge, who has some skill, pace and vision and we really started playing well. In the premier league he never got a fair shot, and then people had the cheek to suggest Obertan was a better version with more potential when we signed him <yikes> I think anyone who does fantasy football knows how wrong that opinion is with hindsight!

Routledge only loses to Obertan on pure pace (which Obertan rarely uses), and height (which Obertan still rarely uses). Crossing, skill, shooting, passing, work-ethic etc Obertan has a very long way to go before he's even close!

    Krul

    Anita Saylor Willo Santong

    Bigi Tiote

    HBA Cabaye Fergei

    Ba

Let the lads at the back gaurd the back door and feed the ball up.

Let the front 4 interchange as they please and attack attack attack

Bring on Cisse at 75 for either Ba or HBA.

Pray to the gods of football

Pulps link is saying Cabaye has taken a knock, so that's worrying.
