Anyone with doubts should banish them imo, this boy is good very very good, he's 19 and has already made over 100 appearances for crystal palace. And it is the general consensus that he is by far the best player in the championship. Yes it is not to the same standard as the premier league but we took oxo from playing in league 1 and look how well he has done. I caught glimpses of him in recent matches and he looks really good, usually i am a bit sceptical but barring injury this boy will be playing for the top clubs in england probably by next season.

Also the championship is more physical than the premier league so he will not need that much time to settle, for me it's a no brainer we should hopefully be able to get him for around the same price as oxo and tbh if he came i really wouldn't mind if walcott left. And those of you slating our policy of constantly signing young players, we are now at the stage where we are bringing through real top quality young players, ok so maybe frimpong, gnabry and miquel didn't have the best of games last night but coquelin came into his own in the second half, we all know that wilshere is top top quality, eisfeld the kid that most people raised eyebrows at was very good when he came on and you can see how important gibbs is to the team. Also with the ability zaha already has and the coaching he will get then it really is an exciting prospect.

All i'm saying is that there isn't necessarily any guarantee that by spending large amounts of money on one player will bring us success, it is still a risk.

Zaha has been given an england callup, to replace Theo who's "injured".

That's another million or two added to his price tag.

**** no. Another young winger in the mould of Oxo and Walcott is not what we need.

Maybe a winger is not our priority right now but we do need a forward player to give us a spark, we have been ridiculously one dimensional and predictable for a few weeks now, we pass the ball around between the back four and arteta and then eventually clip it up towards giroud or give it to cazorla who has someone tightly marking him. We are becoming very easy to play against and zaha is a real promising young talent, and apparently we could get him for £15m i would definitely take the gamble.

He seems to have everything, pace, skill, good upper body strength and he seems to be a real athlete, i don't see him getting bullied by and defenders and he is a very explosive player and some of the goals he has scored have been exceptional. And he is very direct, he takes players on and commits them and that is what we need right now, a player to commit defenders and put balls into the box, holloway was really talking him up and despite that fact that he is his manager most managers are more cautious when talking up a player but you can seee that holloway and the england staff firmly believe in his ability.

Actually, if we bought him to play on the left wing, I wouldn't really mind.

The reviews this kid is getting is unreal. Need to catch a Palace game to see what the fuss is about.

Ian Holloway described him as being like a Harlem Globetrotter of football.

Yes, from the youtube clips I have watched, he does seem to have a wide variety of tricks. So in that sense he is different to the other flying wingers England have (AOC,Walcott,Lennon,Johnson and Young).

Dont get me wrong Zaha looks like he's going to be a great talent but for the £10-15 Million it'll cost to buy him we could probably land Llorente or Huntelarr (both only have 6 months left on contracts)

The papers are going big on him, probably to knock him down when he has a slump. So predictable.

I'm personally really keen on zaha. Zaha, one of eriksen or kovacic and a dm and ill be satisfied with our window not to mention tying down theo to a contract.

I swear I saw an interview on Sky Sports with the Palace owner saying they wouldn't sell any of their best players as they're trying to get promoted? If that's the case, then you can forget this, but either way Wilfried Zaha is incredibly overrated simply because he's quick and can do a few skills. In the games I've seen him in, he's had some pretty poor final ball/shots.

That was his problem before this season according to the Palace fans. I went on one of their forums and according to them Zaha has added that to his game this season, hence all the hype.

I know it's Mark Bright, but if he is bound to know about something, it's about Crystal Palace. And to say that Zaha is the best talent that they have ever had is some praise.

Oxlade played in the Championship, Theo played in the Championship, lots of gems in the Championship and he wouldn't be getting a call up if he wasn't good.
But let's not sign him, watch him become good, then watch the moaning as to why we didn't get him,
