    players can't say it. managers can't say it. we can and should loud and clear. Is Lee Mason (ref at Everton) blind, or does he not know the rules, or is he a cheat? I don't know but I do know he is not fit to referee.

    I thought he had a good game until he carded Rose, linesman didn't do him any favours mind but it was obviously a push from behind. Other than that he let the game flow when a lot of refs would have stopped play for some of the heavier tackles that went in.

    Refs are almost being conditioned to give punishments for diving so its going to happen where someone is fouled legitamimetly but 'dive' is at the back of the Refs mind.

    With Rose he'll have thought 'up against 3 defenders 50 yards from goal, your going nowhere so take a dive to get a freekick'.

    It was a bad decision but sadly understandable.

    Agreed, I thought he had a great game apart from the Rose incident. I was really enjoying watching the tackles flying in and him waving playing on. As the game went on I started thinking Cattermole would be great if we had this ref every week. On the other hand he would gicve guiterrez fck all for his persistent diving.
