Tuesday 8th Febuary 2011 Rochdale 3 - 1 Bristol Rovers League Division 1 Saturday 16th October 2010 Brsitol Rovers 2 - 1 Rochdale League Division 1 Overall Record Down The Years At Rochdale 13 games have been played, The Dale have won 5, The Gas 2 and there have been 6 draws. At Bristol Rovers 13 games played also, The Gas have won 2 The Dale 3 and 8 games have ended in a draw. Overall out of 26 meetings Rochdale have won 8 The Gas 4 and 14 draws. Just in case your interested (which I expect your not) heres all the facts and stats from the games down the years. http://www.bristolrovers-mad.co.uk/head_to_head/next/vs/match/index.shtml Rochdale remain unbeaten in five games where they've taken nine points from fifteen. September saw The Dell master up an impressive thirteen points from eighteen there current home form is patchy taking only ten points from twenty four, on the road they have brought back to Spotland seventeen points from a possible twenty seven and now sit nicely in 6th position in the League 2 table. So Gasheads how will it go in Greater Manchester on Saturday we don't have a great record against Rochdale home or away but can we change that on Saturday afternoon at Spotland Stadium has last Saturdays 3-2 victory over Chesterfield finaly given the boost that The Gas needs or was it just a flash in the pan we will see. So post your score predictions, scorer/scorers and of course how many loyal fans will be traveling the journey north.
I know the thread's early but as I'm off work on sick leave I thought I would put it on now. I'm sticking by my prediction for this game which is score draw so I say a 2-2 draw whci will be I think a good result considering both clubs league postions. I will go for Riordan and Broghammer for The Gas and 350 loyal Gasheads will make the journey

Cheers everyone is doing a great job our forum makes the OS forum look like Jimmy Saville in drag hopefully more gasheads will see how much better this forum is then any other.
i picked gas to win vs chesterfield and i got it right so same reason why i picked gas to win this time
need to use the pub for more off topic stuff as so far it seems to be drinks and some odd food orders. not enough banter and jokes between us on there like you would get in pubs

My team for Saturday I would go for 4-4-3 Etheridge Woodards_Kenneth_Parkes_L. Brown W.Brown_Clarkson_Broghammer Richards_Eaves_Anyinsah What would other Gasheads line-ups and formations be
Good old BBC here's there team news ... Bristol Rovers loan defender Matthew Lund is suspended, so Michael Smith is likely to deputise. Danny Woodards is set to be named on the bench again and could be ready to make his first appearance since breaking his leg last season
Nice thread seamge! I feel a draw coming on - we haven't had one for a while and I just can't see us not concede at the mo. A point away at the Dale wouldn't be a bad result...
4-4-2 ------------etheridge------------ woodards kenneth parkes brown hammer clarkson norburn anyinsah ---------eaves---riordan---------
Noooooooooo! You've got the Hammer on the right, like MM has recently played him. Put him on the left where he's more effective. I'd almost be tempted to start Richard up front and drop Riordan to the bench - he's done naff all and is a huge disappointment so far.
Great to have you back on here mate Im under the impression that hammer is a RW? I was told that this is his proper position. Thats why I put him there
Two away games coming up...Rochdale (6th) and Port Vale (2nd). I'd be happy if we get 2 points from a couple of draws or 3 from winning one of them. Port Vale are doing really well at home so I'll go for a loss against them and a win against Rochdale. ....and welcome back Bb...I was beginning to get worried!
Great to be back fella after a harrowing few weeks. I was told that he prefers to play on the left, but MM has been starting Riordan on the left and switching the Hammer to the right. I'd like to see him given a run on the left. One thing is for sure, we need to attack this weekend and not play Eaves up front on his own.
