Wow nice goal and great celebration in front of an empty stadium! Spurs have some really good young players and it looks like Falque is starting to really shine.
Can't post them on here, unfortunately, but the highlights are on the Spurs website for those with membership. All four were really impressive and Falque's finishes were very, very cool. 4-0 looked pretty flattering, though. Only the West stand was open at WHL last night, which is why it looks so empty. Not sure how many people they're expecting to attend though, to be honest.
I don't know why we didn't play Falque more. He only played a half against Leicester and he looked alright.
I guess it might have been because we knew we couldn't keep him so we didn't want to develop him too much. Makes you wonder why we loaned him in the first place.
It was just a cover thing I think, he was clearly a good player but Lallana and Guly managed to stay fit all season so he was never really needed. If one of them was out for a few weeks it could have cost us.
I think we brought Falque in when Lallana was injured but he came back almost immediately after Falque came to the club, and after that he was just back up for Lallana.
Puncheon being forgiven and brought back lowered him in the pecking order too. Everyone did that day!
