Yeah and I suppose she takes 0% of the blame for those breakups. That's why women like that are not for me. Can't be dealing with their ****. I'm drama-free.

In other news, on Windows 8, Minesweeper has an adventure mode: http://i.imgur.com/u4Ahx.jpg

I'd smack the drama queen-ness out of her. Plus she's hot and rich, I'd happily put up with a bit of bitching.

I had 8 hours of lectures a week, and they all went up online. But I still left everything until the last minute.

I see this morning that this thread continued last night and was then moved to its present location, which makes sense.
I had work to do last night and didnt see the last comments as per the above until this morning.

I dont know who this Joe Steinberg guy is but i take great exception to be likened in any way or form to Nazism - he seems to be some kid who because he has been to university seems to think he is of superior intellect to the likes of me i.e. his comment above that his viewpoint is more credible than mine ! We were not discussing immigrants in this debate and i have never to my relcolection said that ' ALL immigrants are sods who walk all over us ' - however it is a fact that mass immigration is a problem for this country and plenty of decent citizens do worry about the significant number of immigrants who come into this country, many illegally, and abuse our social services etc and in effect do walk all over us. That is a FACT. imo much of this is down to soft liberal policies. There have been some very good immigrants who have come to this country and become decent citizens and been good for the country - there is no doubt about this. However there have certainly been far too many of the other sort.

As for your other question regarding Spain & Turkey - in the context of the debate it was a silly one. I didnt agree with the Irish footballer not wearing the shirt with a poppy given that he is playing in our league and earning a lot of money out of it, and i supported Aberdeen Saint when his view was called moronic by another poster. However at the end of the day it is the footballers choice and he took the one that he did - but this does not mean that i have to agree with it, nor does Aberdeen saint, nor the many other people with a similar opinion.
Regarding my personal experiences in the two countries you asked about - it is a misconception that everybody takes a siesa in Spain, and when i have been carrying out ship refits in Spanish ports such as Vigo i have worked throughout the day along with the Spanish yard workers - i have only been through the Bosphorus on ships and when bunkering in Istanbul we certainly didnt do any praying ( apart from praying that we didnt have an oil spill ! ) but there again i didnt notice the Turkish bunker barge crew doing any praying either during these long operations.

To recap - i love my country and its many traditions, including Remembrance Sunday, but this does not align me with Nazism in any shape or form.

I think it becomes very dangerous when things can't be discussed without being charged with racism or being politically incorrect. I was at University in the 60s when a lot of immigration happened...we were horrified with what happened to the Kenyan Asians who were racist victims being exiled without compensation. There were a lot of foreign students who were fully integrated into Uni activity. Just setting out my credentials as someone who has no problem with other races. What people are concerned about now are too many people coming in who don't choose to fit in, add anything or work. Immigrants should embrace our culture (within reason) because they choose to be here and presumably are escaping from something. If they can add something by adding a touch of variety to our culture, then even better. The cause of economic migration and of the laziness of the people at the bottom of the ladder is an overgenerous benefit system. No one should be encouraged to have children that they can't afford, especially as the children are unlikely to be any better than their parents. No one on benefits should ever get more than full-time minimum wage (unless there is a reason...extra money for care/travel required). I work with people on minimum wage (with work tax credit) who are raising good kids who will see parents who work and do the same. Time to bring back the old idea of the deserving and undeserving poor...direct money to those attempting to improve their lot or who are unable to...and reduce money paid to the fat, lazy and morally empty. Feel better now.

My problem with Google is that they're getting rid of Background Images. Massive dislike, as I have a really awesome image which I feel reflects my personality well.

To sort out the benefit system you firstly need to hire a better company. Atos being hired as the company to handle people on disability and ESA benefit is the first **** up.

The Govt considers the cheapest to be the best - to the cost of the disabled person and ultimately the Govt.

Oh for ****'s sake. I specifically said that I wasn't comparing you to a Nazi. It's very difficult to debate a person if they can't even understand what you're saying.

My point about Spain and Turkey is exactly what you've just said. Not everyone takes part in those customs, and they certainly don't expect foreigners to take part in those customs, so why should Remembrance Day be any different?

And as usual, the patriotic, anti-political correctness, immigrant-fearing, lefty-hating Thatcherite has a little pop at University students. How very typical. Even though I didn't mention the fact that I was a student once in this conversation, and nor did I claim to be of a superior intellect.

I just don't get how they could give ATOS a contract, they are the same company(changed their name), who were sued for 280mil(?) and called a "Denier of the disable company" by USA. So if the Americans are bright enough to cancel their contract with them, it says something about our Government.
