I was spoiled as a teenager for British sitcoms; Partridge, Father Ted, Spaced, League of Gentlemen. Right now I can think of two American sitcoms that are streets ahead of Inbetweeners; It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia and Community.
] He's brilliant ... always liked him (except in Get Shorty!!) Community is also genius ... Chevy Chase is magic in it!
I never really liked the 1st series of It's Always Sunny but it became a lot better once DeVito joined it. Comminity is the funniest thing Chase has done in decades. Even though he hates the show and is always badmouthing it in the press.
I think it's coming back for another 1 or maybe two series. It's away for so long between the series that you forget it even exists for a while. It's one of those things that never gets repeated on TV for some reason.
I'll give you all of Partridge, Father Ted, Spaced, League of Gentlemen. Quality. Peep Show also. Curb etc. are classics. It's the "Two and a Half" men type shows from the US that do ma nut in. And FFS E4, we've all seen every episode of Friends too many times already. Give it a ****ing rest.
Give Community a go SSK. There have been 3 series already. New one starts next year. Jim Jefferies sitcom Legit starts on FX in January too. The weird looking **** from Road Trip plays a gimpy **** in a wheelchair in it.
It is my choice though. When you have your own place you can be original as you like. Still living in the paternal home in your late 20's.
I've never heard of either of them, will defo give them a go though. Was there not some Canadian trailer park show that Neville kept banging on about that was pretty good? I can't remember what it was called though. I tried watching "Full English" last night, first episode on BBC3. What a pile of ****e.
So ****, if you saw the size of my house you'd do the same Do you call everyone "bitch" now? and say "yo" all the time?
