If there is no evidence that this lad used racial abuse what the **** was he banned for,? **** me iv been going to football now for a long time and abusing players is no big deal, or referees or linesmen or away supporters, or any ****er really, i could write a ten page essay here but i wont youll be pleased to hear,,

but this is a ****ing joke and if they have cctv evidence against the boy they must have evidence against sordell, so why the **** did the KID have to apologise to that no good ****ing bastard and yet no one is asking that piece of **** to apologise back,,,,,,a 13 year old boy gets banned from watching Millwall for abusing a man,but a man abuses a kid and gets **** all,,,,,,

****ing right mate and all, there was no racial abuse - simple as that so the club should release an update statement to that effect to clarify against the arsehole media reporting it as a racial verbal abuse incident <grr>

As usual people believe what they read in the papers and we're an easy target as per normal <grr>

Unfortunately if you verbally abuse a player, other fan, steward, OB, hot dog seller - they can throw you out of the ground and they have the right to ban anyone they like. Nowhere that I read did Sordell say that he was racially abused (I may be wrong), the press ASSUMED it when Millwall decided that the kid should do the 'Millwall For All' course (formerly run by the Anti Racist Trust).
The kid admitted wrong, wrote to Sordell apologising, it was accepted and that should have been the last of it. The statement by the club was ambiguous.
As for Sordell retaliating, to tell you the truth I'd retaliate if I was him.

Millwall and football as a whole isn't what it used to be. The 'good old days' of giving the opposition verbal is going, going, gone.
    -----------------------------------------------------------------
Ok, just read that Sordell said that he was racially abused.

so why the **** was he banned ?

surely it wasnt a physical attack ? did he throw a brick at him or something,,,,Geeze,,,,

and at the end of the day does that give Sordell the right to publicly announce it on Twitter ? in the press ?

Peter Garston, the club's fan-appointed director, has confirmed that there was no evidence to substantiate Sordell's claim that he had been racially abused.

Thats the charge,,,,,,,, racially abused <ok>
theres no ****ing proof SO LIFT THE BAN

**** all wrong? He's admitted he abused the player and apologised. The club are meeting with the boy and the family to clear all this up.

PS I got arrested, thrown into a cell with 4 Leeds and had to go to court for sticking my fingers up to Leeds fans at Bellend Road in the 80s.

'If you're charged with sticking you're finger up.....'
'If you're charged with picking you're nose....................'
'If you're charged with racial abuse............... then you're innocent'
    'Innocent until proven guilty............'

FFS, learn to speak English you twat, and be taken seriously. Ilderton Road taught me a lot, including English grammar.

    SPELLING POLICE MODE 'ON'

To be fair, he ****ed up with 'your guilty' should be 'you're guilty' but he was right with 'your nose' and 'your fingers'. I'll give you the rest though brisbane.

    SPELLING POLICE MODE 'OFF'

If all Sordell was subjected to was a bit of swearing from the crowd then he was foolish to moan on twitter as that happens to all opposition fans warming up. If racial then obviously a different matter.

One things for sure Mr Sordell you will be getting a fair bit of abuse from the away fans when we play Bolton later in the season. Anyone think otherwise?

if its the game from the season we went up you are talking about i was there too, and after the game the OB were herding everyone onto buses (i think) but we went by car which we parked in the opposite direction <doh> we broke away from the OB and had to walk past a lot of leeds fans throwing bricks at the wall <doh> luckily i had a flat-cap a pair of green wellies and a whippet in my pocket so we got away with it <laugh>

Being in the cell with 4 Leeds was the shocker. I didn't open my mouth cos I knew I'd be dead when they heard my accent. Later I realised that I was wearing Fila & Diadora and they were wearing **** from the early 70s. <laugh>

That game we had to play in their away kit as someone forgot ours. Also the windows went in on the buses going through the city centre. There was a near riot near the station on the return but I can't confirm it as I was busy at the time.
