Just watch the 7th episode of season 2 which I have to admit was the worst one so far.

I only realised the main actor is English after I saw him on HIGNFY.

I can't comment. Other than football or the very rare occasion the odd film I don't waste my life watching TV. Although I do like ' The Chase ' and ' A Place in the Sun.' I Sky+ them. I went for an audition for 'The Chase ' a few weeks back. I won six out of seven of the question rounds out of eight auditionees... and the feckers didn't pick me. It's clearly not a knowledge based quiz show. They chose a 73 year old childrens entertainer.. who answered **** all. ( They wouldn't have chosen him if the Savile stories were running at the time. ) A 60 odd year old ex-librarian who banged on about the twenty ****ing cats she owned and some northern twat who works with the homeless who when we rehearsed the final round of questions passed on everything?

Anyway, I used to like Spooks and 24 before they became rubbish.

Damian Lewis also David Harewood are British, Yanks seem to like Brit actors playing Yanks in their series ie The Walking dead, The Wire some of the more successful ones.

One of my mates appeared on '15 to 1', wearing his QPR shirt.

    Didn't win it .....:emoticon-0101-sadsm

I knew about TWD as Id seen him before in teachers, Id never seen the main guy before and havent a clue who Harewood is.
The dark woman in the later episode also does a good yank impression too, she was in The Lone Gunmen.

Brits can do yank accents but its very rare for a yank to get a british accent right so we cant tell the difference. usually it sounds more australian.

Damian Lewis (the Ginger guy) also starred in the excellent Band of Brothers, a Saving Private Ryan esque mini series produced by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg well worth a watch if you missed it, and David Harewood is the (british) black dude in Homeland who heads up the CIA <ok>

I know the 2 on the right are yanks, Harry Shearer (who was on the same HIGNFY as the lead of Homeland which is a weird coincidence) is far right and the middle guy whos name I forget was in the x files.

Funnily enough they were the only reason why I didnt say all yanks cant do a british accent.

All are, Harry Shearer on the right does half the voices in the Simpsons, Michael Mckean in the centre and Christopher Guest on the left - he's actually half Brit and an hereditary peer but brought up in the US with a proper US accent.

Seeing that the football on Saturday couldn't deliver anything more exciting or original than a mash-up of Dad's Army meets Big Brother, I'm hoping that Homeland delivers.

Looking forward to some drama, a few twists and turns and a cliff hanger.

    Come on you Rsssss!!! :)
