Anyone got any artists to recommend me, since my iPod managed to synch itself to an empty library and I can't find the files...? My mind has gone a blank.

Laura's average and is tee-total, so I reckon you should dump her and move on. It's for the best. After all, you and Laura are never, ever, ever getting (back) together.

Not too picky. Alternative, rock, punk, punk-rock, metal, indie...

Man, all I'm saying is she wouldn't touch a drop at a party, and would probably go around over-analysing everything and being critical of everyone for having too much to drink.

Can't think of many bands I've been listening to that you probably haven't already heard of. One that comes to mind is The Memorials.

I've been spending most of this year almost exclusively listening to The Mars Volta. It's been like an enormous musical adventure.

I actually think Laura's quite a bit more attractive than Taylor, although both are still very attractive

She sounds like my type of girl!!

I could never fully get into ATDI. The production is a lot more raw, and it sounds like Cedric is singing badly on purpose, but maybe I need to give it another go. One Armed Scissor is a great song though.

Relationship of Command is an amazing album. It does sound like Cedric is trying to be bad, but to be fair during the ATDI days he was on a lot of heroin.

I'll check them both out. As you say I probably have heard of most that you'd recommend, its just they're lost in my mind somewhere.

    He's a very strange man. I don't understand a word of his lyrics. Also he's a scientologist. :(

Since you're talking about music, I'm feeling depressed. What music can you recommend to make me feel worse?

A bit of Editors perhaps? An End Has A Start is a brilliant album.
