"Just days after Jewell revealed that Town’s wage bill was £6million compared to Wolves’ £22million, Clegg admitted the gap was widening in the second tier."

That article was the 25th of September.

But MM does use the pronoun "We"...

Plenty of "We" in the above three interviews, I get the impression he uses "They" to specifically refer to the players! <ok>

If you had properly read my comment which mentions the source as the club itself and then having my comments backed up by 4 or 5 other posters do you still find it funny or does it actually make you wonder what kind of mindset is running our club. It was one of the main reasons I said that the business aspect and the input of Evans is our biggest hinderance.

Further comments today, which don't deny the clause! One word Mick: Lawyer or Admin. Oops that's three words <ok>

“I don’t discuss my contract, so where those stories come from I don’t know.”

So you reckon that if your golden boy Holloway was manager he would have won all 4 games and conceded no goals! You are more deluded than I thought pal! <ok> This is still Jewell's mess and it will take a huge amount of hard work to get us out of this mire that was all of Jewell's making.

No, it's McCarthy's mess now. He has made choices and he takes responsibility for good and bad results now, not Jewell.

No im not that deluded unlike you warky who is so far up MM's hoop its unreal. I guess you will still be blaming Jewell in 10 yrs. MM picks the team, chooses formation and tactics, he has to take some of the blame. I mean why Henderson ffs, ALB would have been better, is Orr match fit? Still dont get why he signed a left back that has only played once in 10 seasons!
Time will tell but for me he is not the man!!!!

Not being funny Spanish but from what I've seen of Youga we could do with someone like him. Reminds me of Ben Thatcher or Alex Bruce. Maybe not the most skilled player but he'll sure kick seven bells of **** out of the opposing winger and let him know he's in a game.

Of course I'm not being totally serious <ok>

We have picked up 6 points from 4 games and when you consider that we have played 2 teams in the top 5 away from home it was always going to be a tough ask to get anything. The must win games are the ones like next week at home to Peterborough so lets wait and see what happens next week shall we? No manager whoever they are is going to come in and sort out this mess in a couple of weeks and for those of you who think they should obviously know **** all about football. You can't turn around over 2 years of mismanagement all at once and I'm amazed that some of you think you can. This is real life not FIFA! <ok>

Eh... Yeah I was only jesting.
Spanish, right now I think MM is the right man for the job
because We truely are a shambles of a team and that has
to be PJ's fault though he seemed to be working with his hands tied.
MM has inherited a poor team low on confidence which
will take time to turn round. My problem however is come the end of the season
when the Republic job comes up......

I seem to remember PJ inheriting an equal shambles from clueless Keane, he managed to get us through that season then it all went wrong. Hope MM can do the same but then put together a credible team, unlike his predecessors. Its too early to judge but I quite like him.
