Christ if he's out of contract in May then 1mil is insane. Only makes sense if we have the funds available and then it's a case of hoping he continues to be a regular goal scorer so that should another team bid for him in the future we make the money back as he's still young.

Lets not end up with another McQuoid 500k and then we give him back plus cash for whoever it was! A terrible bit of business that was. Was it Malone or Taylor we got?

Well I'm not totally convinced by Malone so far but he did well to set up Keogh on sat so fingers crossed he's a success.

Taylor has been great. Very committed to closing down the opposition and winning the ball back, any idea what he cost us or us he a loan?

Wood is only 20 so even if his contract is close to finishing we prob should try and secure him as he's getting us goals.

With a bit of luck he will end up like Charlie Austin and be worth 10mil. :D
How I wish we had offered Swindon what they wanted for him

Taylor was a free transfer MFC <ok>

There no chance of us ever getting Austin for the fee he went to Burnley for <doh>

Yeh I know that Steve, but I thought we showed an interest in signing him when we were still in league 1 or just after we got promoted.

Made a joke/piss poor offer which surprisingly got rejected.

Well Taylor for nothing looks a fantastic bit of business. Refreshing to see us get a decent player in for a change.

Get Wood in Jan and I think we will be very comfortable this season and with ****tu being a man mountain in defense why not have a cheeky stab at the playoffs?

After we'd come up we made an inquiry and supposedly bid something for him but Swindlers we're holding out for better offers from bigger clubs at the time so they got their way. <ok>

I think woods is well worth the money as it stands, but i still think its alot of money with his remaining contract, looks like WBA might be playing a wildcard on the possibility of offering him a new deal or selling...

Malone, needs work but again we swapped for McQuoid (cost us 500k) plus cash bad bit of business really
Tayor great freebie... swings in roundabouts dont it! need to offload N'Guessan to help pay for woodsy
