    Agreed <ok>

Although our finishing was way off today with Mata & Oscar both missing good chances in the first half.

Yeah, unlike Swansea and Shaktar away etc we actually played well and deserved to win today. Our midfield totally bossed theirs, kept Suarez very quiet till he scored.

We are still streets ahead of the Goons and Spuds. Not quite as good as the Manc clubs but will be soon.

We were great in the 1st half but poor in the 2nd. It's just tiredness. Think we will drop loads of points in Nov/Dec but after that we will come right back and be on the tails of the Mancs with fixtures in our favour and hopefully better striking options.

3 points off top isn't bad given we've had QPR, Arsenal and Spurs all away and had Liverpool and United

  6. If Chelsea do not finish at least 3rd, your season will be counted as a failure, what with the money you've spent, and continue to spent on wages. In fact, you ought to finish ahead of United, for second (assuming that City's money will eventually pay off, in the final 3rd of the season).

At the start of this season, I said it was a two-horse race between RDM and Roy Rodgers as to whom would be the first high-profile sacking of the season. I think if Chelsea finish 3rd, he'll be safe (unless Guardiola wants to take his job off him - I cannot see the mad Russian turning him down). As things stand, you're looking comfortable for at least 3rd, whereas Roy Rodgers is already making his excuses as to why 'Pool will finish lower than 8th. Roy Rodgers is now clear favourite for the sack.

By far and away the most moronic statement I've seen from you in a while, and yours usually take some beating!

It's not about the money you spend it's about how well the players gel and purs are still doing that, please concentrate on your own shower of ****e manager.

I don't think the likes of Hazard (21), Oscar (21), Azpilicueta (23), Marin (23) can really be considered failures in their first season in English Football. <doh>

Moses (21), Piazon (18), Bertrand (22) are debutants at this level. Given the lack of experience in the squad and the farcical decisions that have gone against us (and City) from Week 1 of the PL up until now and the fact we've had far tougher fixtures than anybody else in the top 4 we are doing well to be 3 points off the top.

That's the problem with Arsenal and Spurs in general. It's all about cost and not value. Mata, Oscar, Ashley Cole & Cahill could quite easily have been Arsenal or Spurs players respectively if they were willing to spend what was perfectly viable for them.

In life you get what we pay for. Pay £15m you get Dempsey and Sigurdsson (Average players), pay £5m more and you get Moutinho (Class player) who would command less wages than the former combined.

Difference between top 4 and Europa <ok>

If Arsenal would rather charge extortionate prices and price out their real fans, and spend the money on Gazidis and Wenger's bonuses rather than invest in their own side that's not our fault. Up until 2 years ago Arsenal have had sides more than capable of winning the PL but due to Wenger's ineptitude and unwillingness to invest in the missing piece of the jigsaw (a proper DM) they have come unstuck and since Henry, Flamini, Hleb, Adebayor, Nasri, Fabregas, RVP have all left one by one.

    Todays scores concerning our rivals:

Villa 0-0 Arsenal - good result for us in what was a shoite game... Arsenal fans at Villa Park chanting 'you don't know what you're doing'... clearly not happy with some of the subs made.
Man Utd 3-1 QPR - At 1-0 to QPR I thought they had a chance of maybe nicking a point. Then Anton comes on and they concede 3 times in 8 mins... coincidence? Anyway United move 6 points clear of us.
Sunderland 2-4 WBA - Well well... The Baggies really are on form and I'm pleased for Stevie Clarke. They leapfrog us into 3rd for the moment at least! Lukaku slotted a penalty and did well when he came on.
Everton 1-1 Norwich - A late late equaliser for the Canaries is good for us I guess. Everton having a bit of a November slump... Sounds familiar?

No side is capable of putting together a good run of form.

For the team currently in 1st place to have lost 3 already is quite frankly laughable and testament to how poor this league really is.

If we win both our home games this week and manage to win most of our December games then we shouldn't be in danger of finishing outside the top 4.

Arsenal lose 2-0 at home to Swansea. Have to be honest that was coming.

Wenger is gone in May IMO, I've never seen him so dejected and devoid of passion. He claims Wenger - "Swansea Deserved to win" not just once but TWICE in an interview.

Wenger of old blames the ref/pitch/fixture schedule or some kind of offside/penalty decision that went against them that never was. Never once have I ever heard Wenger say an opposition team outright "Deserved to win" even Barcelona who comparably outplayed Arsenal 4 teams in 2 seasons.
