I'd go for Harry. I just hope his health is up to it. The stress of management doesn't do much for a man who's had heart problems

Benitez is 2nd fav so its a bit strange that he isnt on the list.

To be honest it looks like youve picked a bunch of crap managers to try to get people to say they dont want Hughes to go.

Or how about Joey Barton as player/manager? I think he would suitably reflect the brand.

Why not let Harry's dog be in charge of the sums he seems to have a good head for business.

I think it was meant to.

    Rafa Benitez
    Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
    D Deschamps
    Remi Garde
    Slaven Bilic
    Fabio Capello

All those are shorter odds than Mackay for example.

right 'Flyer' your obviously a bit of a bell

the list was a genuine one, if you think capello has a chance of taking over, considering that he's having success in Russia and is prob on over £2mil a year the you really are deluded

the list was just names, there is an 'other' section and anyone is free to add names

rafa was prob the only genuine one i missed, i didnt look at any betting and if he was second then he's prob in with a shout

as far as solskjaer and bilic are concerned i doubt it very much, ole was only quoted the other day saying he feels he's too inexperienced for a job in the prem yet so i doubt he'd take a team thats rock bottom

    David Platt.

I mentioned him on a previous similar post. He's played at the top level in England and in Italy (almost top level in Italy!) as well as being a sterling international servant. Done his apprenticeship with Citeh and time to take a punt on someone who hasn't got the baggage of everyone else on the lists doing the rounds.

Having said that I don't see an end to Mark Hughes' reign any time soon, TF has come out too many times to back him to then turn around and fire him now. Maybe if we are still in the mire at Christmas things could change. Something has to change though, this is the worst I've felt about QPR for years.

David Platt has had a couple of previous stints as a manager and he didnt fair to well if I remember correctley, some people are suited as a number 2 and he is one of them.

I think in all fairness we need to do an Everton and have stab at a manager from the championship or lower. Gus Poyet is the obvious candidate but Paulo Di Canio would definitely be intresting, could you imagine what would happen if anyone threw a strop with him!?

And I think if we were to seriously consider a championship manager then Kenny Jackett should be in with a shout. Harshly treated last time he was at QPR and for me seriously underated for the job he has done at Millwall on a shoestring.

Thing is Grove....it would take a turnaround of monumental proportions for us NOT to be in the mire by Xmas. David Platt isn't a bad call, except that, I suppose he's relatively untried?
'Arry for me till season's end then Benitez if possible.

Although, I'm really starting to wonder if we just aren't good enough, regardless of who is in charge. Mind you, Hughes did still cock up the formation on Saturday, even with Faurlin back!

    I don't know anymore....really I don't. Such hopes for this season................all but gone.

I would have gone for Gus Hiddink, but he signed a new contract with Anzhi Machathingywotsit the other day.

From the list, for me it had to be 'arry, the only one with the experience to get us out of the do dos!

I know he's far from the best option but I'd love to see Paulo Di Canio at the club some time. Him and Taarabt would either get on like a house on fire or they'd both kill each other after two weeks.

The reason I say this is that we have a squad of flawed genius's so why not have the most flawed genius of all time at the helm! It'd be 'kin entertaining!

Col, you're getting to me mate! Only just realized that this is our worst start ever, even had 5 points after 11 games in the '68 season.
Yet when I look at the team sheet it is blatantly obvious that this is a better team than we had last year. Bewildering. Even I have got to the stage now of thinking that we have nothing to lose by changing manager if we fail again v Saints. Trouble is, I have no faith that a change, especially given the names that are being chucked around, will work any magic.
All I do know is that letting it make me miserable will help no one, especially myself.

As I said, the were all shorter/same odds than some of the ****e you mentioned. Those are the facts.

The likes of Bruce and Powell arent even on there.

For me the job is made for Redknapp. We are in a similar position to Spurs when he took over there and he is a real motivator - something we really need right now.

We have the players, but they are just not performing. Redknapp is really like a PL version of Warnock and we were all gutted to see how it ended for him here as he isnt PL standard. Redknapp would bring the same qualities to the club, but obviously with the PL pedigree to back it up with.
