Exactly what I said (above)...he certainly wasn't reading and knew it off by heart. Adkins loves uplifting quotes and lives his life in a positive manner. We could all learn from him, though I suspect you have to be born like it.
The fans support is helping the team and him through a difficult patch. Imagine if you lost all the time and fans got on your back as well...look at Hughes at QPR. We know that the team and Adkins have earnt a chance and the fact that Nigel is well liked (even loved) helps as well.

I would feel pretty uncomfortable watching the manager of my football club doing that. Especially in the rushed, cringey manner that Adkins adopted.
I think we will have to agree that we see things differently. Adkins has been great for us and we admire him as a manager and like him as a character. If you were bottom, I think you would feel differently about Fat Sam chewing a wasp.
