Obviously, Man Utd have good players otherwise you wouldn't be there or thereabout each season. I don't think they are the best in the league but credit where credit is due, they are a team and that is thanks to your manager!

No idea where he played. I remember a match report saying he was in front of Cole which I would assume means left wing.

I mean what on earth sort of idea is it to play CM on the left wing? Its not the first time. Gerrard and Scholes have both been shoved out there.

If they are not playing centrally then dont play them at all. Simple. Play an average player who happens to be a left winger over them ( not lennon or Walcott though, I didnt say below average ) as at least he will give us width and hold our shape.

Best players a team do not make


United have the best team in the land. Team being the key word. Imo we have the best attack and we are showing it but we are lacking elsewhere right now ( big shout for De Gea, keeper of the year so far in my biased opinion ).

How often have we been behind and won, played poorly and won?

On the flip side we have dominated games and have had 65% + possession numerous times this season. Weird stuff.

You guys have, on paper, have one of the best set of strikers. The only reason I say one of the best is because of Man City with Aguero, Dzeko, Tevez and Balotelli, that is quite a quad! They have played together for a season more (considering RVP as only just joined) but in terms of partnerships, I can see Rooney and RVP being the best unfortunately

In terms of 'attack', it depends on your definition IMO. If, for example, you played 4231, I would say the three and the one are all part of the 'attack', in this case I think Chelsea can e rated right up there too, just as well it is not the Torres of old eh

 

No way are you better than Man City. Only 2 points in it atm. And for all the criticism Man City haven't been beaten this season so far in the league.
