Who is the worst ref in the PL? Maybe we can get him to come coach with us so we never get him. I can see how the big teams could invite in the ref's they don't like to make sure they never get them against them. This really seems like a bad idea to me. If the league wants to do this they should have the refs coach in the league below so there is no questions.

Phil Dowd's a good ref, I noticed that in the programme it said that he was the referee but then I thought that the ref didn't look fat enough. Makes sense now.

Schneiderlin's goal in six of the best on Sky.

I think the relationship with the referee would improve if the captain was the only one who could talk to the ref like in rugby, $500 for any breach of this rule starting next season and the issue would be cleared up to a certain extent. Having refs coaching football teams is a bullshit idea inevitably leading to controversy.

I thought the ref was poor saturday but we should have won in any case. Perhaps we could have had a few more penalties this year but we are where our performances deserve at the moment

Much as I like Lala he doesn't seem to do much skippering, Fonte was doing all of the barking of orders on Saturday, maybe he could have the armband, for a while?

In The Times today, it said that Saints shoot themselves in the foot so often that A and E must have cancelled all leave when the players went clay pigeon shooting last week:biggrin:

Aren't clay pigeons an endangered species? People are always shooting at them.

Trouble is that when defending the goal, you can end up bricking it.
