Well based on the wealth of information you have supplied me with. My diagnosis is really easy. And as my Google search for Dodgy Computer Thingy brought up a very strange cyber sex toy. You're either an idiot or a pervert.
Ha ha. My AVG has just flagged up a broken sig or summat in a previously removed programme (A Virgin Media management programme, that was gash) It's in app data, roaming, but I can't get to it to remove it, any clues? And, as a man, I am openly a pervert (constant) and occasionally an idiot (and proud..)
This may sound daft. But reinstall the program! You may need to restart comp. Then in the program menu check if there's an uninstall in the actual program itself, there should be if it is a legit program. After uninstalling restart comp yourself. Hopefully should do the trick. If that doesn't work, come back and I will talk you through installing the program and just stopping it starting.
Tried that, there's no visible trace of it, reinstalled/reuninstalled, it was DL from Virgin Media site, so I know it's safe, but red things from anti-virus scare me. Ha.
Reinstall. Go to your Program Menu. "Startup" Make sure it isn't in there. If it is just delete it. Then on the start menu click on RUN. Type msconfig Go to the startup tab. Untick anything to do with the program.
Nee bother marra. I was waiting for a home made loaf to cool down so I could make the boys bait. The house smells lush. And I have just had a doorstep of warm bread liberally coated in butter. (Oh my arteries!)
Hahahahaha Only reason I was still here mate. Went to make his bait earlier and realised I didn't have any Warburtons. For more yeast based info. Now the bread pan has cooled as well, I have set another loaf (garlic and cheese flavoured ) to start by timer at 5-30 am. Welsh rarebits for breccy. Lovely way to start the day.
Right now that I have stayed up this late, with the sole intention of helping you out and you're sorted. I'm off to bed. 4 hours kip is better then no kip.
mate havent read all the replys just up to here but if you go 1/ bottom corner type in reg edit 2/GO TO 3RD one down 3 soft wear open look for the program starter and delete it. 4 go to 2nd column down look for software open and look for same program and delete. this is you registry some antivirus programs leave traces when you delete them and this is the only way to kill em dead
