Exactly, why show a controversial disallowed goal when you can show players getting off the coach wearing over sized headphones.

That's simply because he isn't very good. Not saying he won't be good one day, but we shouldn't be giving him the opportunity to improve and **** up our chances of progression. Another 2 games (Wolves/Cardiff) an Amos fault gifts the opposition a goal in 2 consecutive games.

I would agree with the bit about the defence seeming less confident with him in goal.

Amos gave the ball away against Wolves and then 3 defenders ****ed up. Is that his fault or the 3 defenders who didn't defend?

If any other play gives the ball away, you don't blame them for a goal that occurs 3 or 4 passes later do you?

The thing that's annoying me about Amos is that people have been against him before he made a mistake yesterday and even before Wolves. Ever since Blackpool when he was sold short by McShane and Faye and took all the blame for it, people have been waiting for him to make a mistake so they can have a paddy and harp on about us signing Vito for £1m. At Bristol McShane gave a goal away with his pantomime marking yet everyone goes on about Amos making a mistake even though nothing came of it. Even when it's been others player's fault more than his like Wolves people are going on about him. Yesterday seems to have been the first time he's really let us down (I've onyl seen it once, very quickly, on FLS), and that's far less often than McShane, Bruce and even Chester this season. It sounds like he had a great game yesterday anyway, according to the neutral Cardiff fans.

Amos wasn't directly at fault for the goal against Wolves. Yes it was a poor clearance but the defence still had chances to deal with it.

Keepers make mistakes and it more often than not results in a soft goal. Strikers miss sitters (Aluko, Mclean, Simpson) yet they aren't slated as much.

    Get off his back FFS.

Regardless of the subsequent **** ups by McShane and Chester, Amos was at fault for the goal, he created the issue with a poor kick that went straight to a Wolves player. If any other player had consistently put in average performances like Amos, they would have been out of the team. Amos must have some **** on Bruce to keep getting in the starting 11.

I haven't rated him from the beginning, too many all round areas of his game need improvement (kicking, cross collection, saving, decision making etc etc). Against Brstol he also almost cost us 2 points by being in no mans land when a Bristol header came back off the bar. It's all very well you saying 'He's not here to learn his trade', well he is, otherwise there wouldn't be so many fundamental and basic errors in his game.

We needed an experienced keeper in the Summer, to me your keeper is one of the key components, Amos might go on to be England's number one, but he isn't good enough for a top 6 team in the Championship yet.

But he's good enough for England U21s.

    And Steve Bruce.

And to be Man Utd's No. 3 keeper.

There's only really one of the above 3 points that are of any concern, I'm not really bothered if he's 3rd choice at old Trafford or playing for U21s. It doesn't mean he doesn't make mistakes, and we've seen plenty of those. Should he be Steve Bruce's first choice? On what I have seen so far, no.

Based on Bruce's comments in the Fail today, it sounds like he may well be dropped for the Brum game.

I think he should be to be fair, nothing to lose by giving Jakupovic a try

I don't agree with dropping him now he's had a good run in the team, bringing in Jakupovic could unsettle us more that having Amos making a few mistakes.

Or could take Amos out of the firing line as he is a young keeper who could be low on confidence

It's a difficult one. If his confidence is low, dropping him could lower it further.

As the article says, SB will have to see how he is before deciding what's best

I dont see how people can call for Amos to be dropped. We dont know what Jakupovic is like, where Bruce sees him in training and maybe that is why Bruce has stuck with Amos
