James McClean refusing to wear poppy on shirt

Probably cos he's a decent man and the thought of another man being locked behind a cell door makes him sad, it does me.

 

Fair comment - you dissed me on an earlier comment and it ****ing narked me. It was my way of retribution. Retribution on a forum (if there is such a thing) is pathetic and for that i apologise.

Haway though, I have just scrolled through to see what I could of done to nark you so much and all that happened was somebody counter argued you and I simply copied their post and wrote "This"!!

However - my point, although perhaps not made rather well, was that McClean shold have worn the poppy, as should the manager The club, IMHO, royally ****ed up without having a policy of wearing the poppy (whatever their views). I wore mine with pride, my family wore theirs with pride. Somehow i feel a little let down by the club who clearly has no policy on this.

As a side note - I served for just a tad over 23 years and still work for the MOD, albeit in a different guise. Not that means anything...
