  2. Although I sort of agree with your point, Gerrard and Fowler never had an England team built around them. Rooney is 'the savior' <doh>

    Wrong!

Rooney is expected to do it by himself. He barely has any support. You can see how pissed off he is when playing for england as none of the players have a ****ing clue what they are doing. Its a farce.

At United he has had teams built around him, been part of a team built around others and the consistent thing is he has always had support from team mates.

Footballs a team game after all and england are not a team.

    Rooney the saviour<laugh>
Like in 2010? That year he had a hurtey ankle and lost focus because Juicey Jenny demanded £1950 ''ugly tax''. She also refused to do it with the lights on. She's also said to have said the sex was ''ogre rated''.
Wayne has since been arrested for stealing a packet of welsh cheese-cakes, when questioned, he said his reason was he promised Coleen Mcfatarse that he wouldn't buy any more tarts. His statement to the media was delayed because two of his crayons broke whilst writing it.

  6. At what point did that happen then? When he was pushed to the left or back to DM to accommodate Fat Frank <doh>

Also, if you take your blinkered specs off and looked at the international tournaments that Gerrard was at you will find he was one of our better performers despite England being **** and despite being pushed out of position <ok>

Scholes suffered from this too <ok>

  8. Oh right, and here was me thinking it was Ashley Young and Danny welbeck either side of him and, more recently, Tom Cleverley behind him <doh>

Edit: I agree that England are a farce but you can't say he is unable to link up with players etc when he is surrounded by his club mates <ok>

The press build him up as if he could win a World Cup on his own. Just like they did with beckham. When he plays for England he always looks dismayed at the **** we play. He is the focal point of the team but I wouldn't agree the team is built round him.

Clueless managers also ****ed England up.

Lampard and Gerrard didnt work. Scholes retired as he was being ****ed about. Lennon was and always will be a pile of ****. taking a useless Walcott to a world cup at 16 or whatever he was. Rooney being taken when injured and the same with beckham. Gutless managers who were to scared to do the right thing.

Playing 442 regardless of personnel and the same ****ing players every game. Utter ****e and made England a laughing stock.

Gerrard and Lampard have had the England team built around them for a decade. Both are incapable of playing in a system that doesn't allow them license to do whatever the **** they want which is why England have very, very rarely controlled games against decent opposition.

You're forgetting Manchester United fans. According to them, in 1966 Bobby Charlton beat West Germany by himself even though Geoff Hurst scored a hat-trick. That's the reason why 9 of his team-mates didn't deserve to be knighted.......including the captain.

  14. Didn't stop three (or was it four) managers trying to make it work <doh>

Said for years that one should be dropped. Although I obviously thought Gerrard was the better option I would have preferred him to be dropped for Fat Frank, save Stevie for Liverpool <ok>

Totally agree with the rest <ok>

I havent seen england for a while but heard he had played with the above players in some games. While they play together at United its not very often and Cleverly was played out wide was he not? I mean the lads a CM and an AM on occasion but hes ****ing useless on the wing. Same with Welbeck who no doubt played from the left where he is rubbish.

Dont rate Young one bit myself though he and Rooney have a decent understanding.

I get your point though. Have they all played at the same time? What happened?

  16. Don't agree with that. it was a case of square pegs in round holes no matter what position you played. We accommodated players such as A.Cole, Rio, Terry, Carragher (to a degree), Scholes, Gerrard, Lampard, J.Cole, etc for far too long rather than dropping certain members for a 'lesser' individual that would make the team better!

Such dreadful players that they are currently top of the league and came within a few seconds of winning it last season. I know KPR rates your squad higher than ours but thats because yes certifiable. surely you realise that as much as you hate the United players they must be half decent at football. Not Young though, we should have let you sign him.

  18. Can't say I take a great deal of notice when England are playing but I know those players are in and around the England team. I thought Cleverley was part of a midfield three rather than out wide though, my memory may not be right though <laugh>

Isn't it interesting that the three best England players at the euros at the time were Liverpool players. These were, Steven Gerrard, Glen Johnson and Andy Carroll and the two worst were Manchester United players..Wayne Rooney and Ashley Young.

Retrospective hatred, nice touch. Your dad was probably a Charlton fan.
