Would people be happy with this team for our next team? ------------------------gk----------------------- ---Johnson----Skrtel-----Agger----Enrique--- -------------------Henderson------------------- -----------Gerrard----------Suso--------------- ---------------------Suarez--------------------- --Sterling------------------------------Assaidi-- We play Wigan. Its a rare Saturday 3pm. Both our league wins this season have been on a Saturday.
"Suarez gave Ramires a little push in the back. It would have been nice to get a free-kick but we didn't." - RDM Fair play to him, it was a push, although Ramires had hold of the shirt, and probably should have been a free kick, but nice to see a manager not moan about it too much. Can think of a few other managers have a right moan about that if it had gone against them *cough Slur Alex cough*
Having Torres back and ten million! Haha. Its delicious that he is having such a bad time. Won a Champs League and FA Cup but is still unhappy because he's personally contributed so little.
Allen and Sahin had a bad game today. But they are both still quality. Sahin should start from the bench next week though.
I agree Torres does not look a happy bunny, hasn't for a long time. Amusing to see him trudging off to the cheers of the travelling reds.
Happy with a point against arguably the best squad in the Premier League. Think Brad Jones deserves a lot of credit for his performance in goal, hopefully this has shown Reina that he isn't a guaranteed starter anymore. Enrique and Johnson were both bossing it. Very disappointed with Sahin and Allen, thought both were woeful today. I can't see for the life of me how Sahin is a Real Madrid worthy player. Sterling and Suarez were exceptional, and Suso just keeps getting better and better! Best moment of the game was seeing Torres trudge off the field grumpily and the LFC fans sending him on his way :L And one last thing, Brendan Rodgers should look at the first half and Thursdays game and realise that he should never play 3 CB's again!
Yeah hopefully thats the last we see of 3 cb's. With a bit of luck Torres won't score for another 700 minutes either.
Sahin was quality at BVB, I'm sure he still has that quality in him. Just needs to rediscover it soon.
Not quite sure how we got a point from that match, not that I'm complaining For the 2nd PL match in a row though, I can't help but feel that our opponents let us back into the game (by not showing enough attacking intent to put us away when they had the chance) rather than us forcing our way back into it. The way we played either side of the two goals was good, but we need to work on being mentally strong after falling behind.
Don't agree Newcastle let us back into the game. We did everything we could to get a goal against them which we eventually got by a bit of brilliance from Suarez. Do agree it was the case today though. We need a morale boosting win to get the guys heads up.
Sahin isnt a number 10, he is a creative holdin mid, playin Sahin at number 10 is like playin Alonso there, I wish BR would stop playin there, although he didnt play ther today The only real number 10 we have is Suso, next game Id like to see him play there with either Assaidi or Gerrard wide, probably Assaidi with Stevie alongside Allen I say defo think we need a number 10(Isco/Eriksson) in Jan along with a number 9(Damiao,Huntelaar), ( and bein greedy a striker, who can play wide too(Walcoot,Sturridge) )
Breaking News. Chelsea have made an official complaint against Howard Webb for using inappropriate language. Webb was heard by four Chelsea players calling Fernando Torres a striker.
