I think that's a little harsh on Rosberg, he is 5 years younger than Button, who in turn is 4 years younger than Webber. De la Rosa isn't racing to be competitive, so I imagine he's got a couple of years left too.

Yeah... I'd think Rosberg might have something to say about that. :p

The proof of the pudding will be where they are at by the end of next season. They have a mountain to climb though.

Difficult to say really a lot can happen between now and then. There would need to be a lead driver and given the size of Mclaren it would likely be a big name. Vettle?, I honestly cant think of anyone else unless another Lewis springs up! A bit frightening really!

I don't think they would be rid, just that he would retire although in response to Kyle the options look uncertain!

What about the original Lewis? He'll still have a year left contracted to Mercedes, but after two years in the midfield I think he'd jump at the chance to return to McLaren. di Resta and Hulkenberg would be likely candidates, Kubica may be back by then and Bottas and da Costa should have a season or two under their belts. They should be able to pick at least one from that lot if Button leaves and Perez isn't cutting it. Grosjean's another one too, his race craft will improve a lot in two years and there's no doubting his raw pace. Ricciardo's impressed me this year too.

They say stuff like this every year.

Ron is playing it cool but I agree with what Brundle said on Sunday, he will be hurting inside that Hamilton has gone. I do hate his management though he should forget Fuller and make Coton his full time manager

I agree. But aside from Fuller-profiting sponsorship deals, Lewis wasn't happy either with all the McLaren sponsorship commitments he had to undertake, apparently more than those of any other team.

Mercedes do come across similar to Liverpool FC (and I'm a fan), next year will be our year, we'll I've been waiting 22 years (and counting), hope Lewis and Merc don't have to wait that long...
