Rumour on twitter saying Ferrari testing in Idiada went badly with trying to look at the Abu Dhabi upgrades that didn't work. Lotus went home from Abu Dhabi being really happy that their Coanda exhausts were getting better. Good things are said to have come from Ferrari, but not as much as the bad.
I've picked LH to win because whoever i pick doesn't win. Tempted to go for FA, but sticking to my guns
Mclaren's are going to be quick here I reckon, carrying on the pace from Abu Dhabi. If it rains, it is going to be epic.
No, the whole whiny hypocrite issue from Monza has put me off picking him. Vettel did to him what he did to Vettel a year earlier, he just whined more.
Difficult thing with McLaren is that in the first half of the year their car was best on high speed circuits but now their car looks better suited to circuits with more slow speed corners and heavy braking zones (which Hamilton certainly prefers). I think they will be very strong in S3 in Austin as it is quite twisty like the last section in Abu Dhabi while S1 looks like Red Bull territory (similar layout to Silverstone and Suzuka).
lolz. They all enjoy a good moan from time to time... Though I do agree that it was a bit hypocritical. Plenty have been guilty of it though.
Twitter, came from the Alonso group themselves: Elena @ ElenaF1 I have "My spies" that today in Idiada have not given happiness Hornpipes. Something has worked pretty bad and otherwise, so... https://twitter.com/ElenaF1/status/267379940780019712 She's not the only one though, a few other Spaniards were saying the same thing that Ferrari were not happy after tests in Idiada. Again though a rumour, Marca did say the improvements Ferrari were going to bring would be minor as everything that was meant to work, didn't and 2 weeks isn't long enough to fully sort it out like it was meant to do at India. Majority of these twitters are dickheads, some are decent, few are actually great. Elena I would put in between decent and great with some of the info she has posted out before. Take it with a pinch of salt, but I wouldn't disregard it just because it's from twitter. I think she was the same person who said the India upgrades for Ferrari didn't work + DDRS failing and well.....she was pretty much right with that so that's what I mean don't disregard her etc...
I know what you mean, I'd only just warmed to him again after his BS at McLaren and his whiney cry that he wasn't getting top dog status
