The bibs, the bibs, help me! somebody get the rosetta stone to translate the secret code of who will play?
With Chelsea having lost to United and then drawn with Swansea. If we beat Chelsea today the media will declare them in crises. Fact.
I have it on very good authority that Carra is starting today in place of Skrtel who has a virus. 3 at the back, likely to be Carra, Agger and Wisdom/Coates. Jonno and Enrique as wing backs
Sorry, as much as I have worshiped carra over the years, the thought of him getting exposed for pace today is frightening and strikes me as a huge gamble to take.
I agree with you, just letting you know what I know. He did well in the back 3 against Anzhi though, maybe it's a system that suits him with his lack of pace.
apart from a couple a last ditch blocks ( trademark carra) i thought he had a poor game against them. Oh well lets wait and see.
Carragher and Coates...? Pace McFucking Pace! No wonder were going for a system that will let Chelse pile on the pressure
The Reds team in full is: Jones, Johnson, Enrique, Agger, Wisdom, Carragher, Sahin, Gerrard, Allen, Sterling, Suarez. Subs: Gulacsi, Cole, Assaidi, Henderson, Coates, Downing, Suso.
Can't see Coates being too happy with seeing Wisdom and Carragher picked ahead of him. Jones Johnson - Wisdom - Carragher - Agger - Enrique Gerrard - Allen - Sahin Sterling Suarez
I think it's necessary that Wisdom is played there, Johnson is likely to have free reign to get forward (even more than possible) while Sterling will likely drift over to the left more often so Jonno can bomb forward. Wisdom will be filling in the gaps at right back when we're attacking, I couldn't imagine Coates doing that quite as well. Also Agger and Coates have never played together (I think) so I can see the logic in playing Carra and Agger who know each other's game a little better.
