    Fortunately, Perchinho knows how to break up play and isn't scared to put his foot in. These are both areas in which the current England team are lacking.

    im trying to think of that left back we had that left for bigger and better things. ended up playing in goal,getting a game now cos first choice lad is injured

    Perch is not good enough for me to be honest. I like the lad but if that is what we have for a midfield role, then we're worse than I already think we are.

    I tell you who has pissed me off, Jack Rodwell. Great talent but sitting on the bench at City isn't going to help! Personally I think its time for Gerrard to sit and allow the likes of Wiltshire, Cleverley, Ox and Jonjo Shelvey to fill the more advanced central midfield roles. Shelvey in particular is looking very impressive and imposing. I'm also keen to see Frimpong back in action as he looked a good player before his cruel injury. Then you have the likes of Powell, McEachran and Barkley to keep an eye on for the future. Both of the last two named are out on loan but looked like decent talents.

    Don't wanna be harsh on Perch because he has been great for us.

    People used to blame Perch for everything. Nowadays, Obertan has taken up the mantle and ran with it.
