I was in the northam yesterday and heard throughout the game people slating yoshida, fox, and gazza. Which to be fair i kind of expected im not a fan of yoshida or fox but couldn't understand why several people near me were having a go at Rickie??? The guy has scored shed loads of goals for us!! People saying yesterday that he was a fat useless tool. Also ramirez came in for some stick, i think some people need to get a reality check. We were never gunna be anywhere but bottom 6 this year. Rickie and ramirez are good players and for what ever reason they are the best we can get so lets not give them grief. As for yoshida i dont like him he ****ed up for the goal but nobody mentioned his last ditch clearance that kept us in the game in the last minute!!! Anyway 3 points at QPR and wel be back on track. The treatment some players get is disgusting. Fox is a good player, not top premier league by a mile, but his contribution last season was vital. Guly is a good player. Some fans are just ignorant.

Must be a Northam thing. In the Kingsland, people groan and say the players' names in a disgusted manner when they do something simple wrong, but there is no constant rant at any particular player (not that I've heard). The Northam are good at getting behind the team, so attract noisy and, sometimes, mouthy people. Can't have one without the other. I was close to the Northam and all I heard was positive, so suspect that it is all the players hear.

It's not their fault they are not up to the job and I do not understand it, it's the managers for selecting them and the person who buys players or the person who did not replace them when we were promoted, Yoshida was a panic buy gone very wrong, even though this is no great indicator it gives a slight insight, the team he played for last season conceded the most in the top flight of the Dutch League.

I thought Yoshida was okay today...sometimes when a player makes a few obvious mistakes when he joins a team no one gives him credit thereafter. He never expected to get that ball back from Gazza and the keeper had time to deal with it.

Agreed FLT, the northern is made up of a lot of youngsters with little understanding or experience of the game yet are very quick to voice their opinion.
One minute a player is a hero and the next he is useless. That's simply The Sun reading mentality I'm afraid

This is a common trait with many football supporters i think. I bet if you stood/sat on the main noisy terrace at any ground you would hear similar rubbish being spouted. It always been the same in my experience. I sit in block 37 near the Northam corner and i cant hear anything about particular players coming from the Northam, apart from the odd time when Guly is playing maybe, so doubt the players on the pitch can hear it.
I have a typical moaner sitting on one side of me - he moans all the time even when we were well on top v Villa ! I told my son & his mates yesterday that we are swopping seats for the Newcastle game so that one of them can put up with him for a change ! This guy told me that i am daft for going to away games as we never win !! With supporters like this chap who needs opposition fans - but there have always been fans like this and i guess always will be.

A moron behind me suggest that Yoshida is no good at defending because he can't see due to his "slitty eyes".

Yes, he actually said that (he said it very loudly)

Yes, the morons he was with laughed at it (no one else did of course)

I'm actually annoyed with myself for not having a pop at the idiot, but I just know that I'd end up being the one chucked out & banned, not twats like that.

Hi Choc, what you could do is take his seat number if you can, excuse yourself and go and report this racist to a steward or policeman. They might try and get close enough to hear any further comments and take action.

Yoshida had a very good game yesterday. He reads the game very well and made a number of very timely interceptions and tackles.
His distribution was also good he hardly ever gave the ball away and won most of his headers.
What more do people want of a centre back?
gazzinaga should never have played the ball to him which led to the goal but perhaps this is what people remember and not the rest.
Sometimes i think people watch the match and dont recognise which players are involved in certain situations and therefor make comments which are just wrong.
    Hey ho thats football!!

I actually thought Yoshida was really good yesterday, mistake aside.

We looked very solid but made one costly error of judgement. That's it. Move on, Loftus Road next up.

I think i was sat near him and it wasn't the only bile that came out of his empty head. One thing is for sure once you get on someones back their standard of play will not improve and more errors tend to follow.
