I thought I would start the thread tomorrow as i have been told that a horse tomorrow is worth having a small bet on at Ffos Las. This horse has yet to jump a hurdle but has apparently taken well to the task and is expected to run well. I have not by any means been told it's a certainty or anything silly like that but that it is expected to run well and then go on from there so am just passing it on as we do. There are currently no prices available but i would probably take the first price you can best odds if possible. Ffos Las 1.25 Standing Ovation My own fancy tomorrow is also at Ffos Las and runs a little later 2.30 Oscar Davey
Just by way of update on Standing Ovation it is currently 7-2 in a place but broadly 3-1, It has been cut slightly already by most firms from the 7-2 and is showing 11-4 with some. This would signify pretty much what my friend passed on to me that it is thought capable but by no means a big plot going down.

Al Ferof for the Paddy Power Gold Cup was a bet this morning, and I still think at 12/1 he is a horse that you should get on your side for next weekend.

Well said CHIEFY Every last one of them a hero. In our world of safety and comfort it is hard to imagine the horrors of war.
1.15 Cops & Robbers 10/1 (should come on significantly from opening return defeat to Sizing Rio and as such is overpriced at around 10/1) 3.25 Lord Windermere 2/1- Probably achieved more than expected over hurdles and was always likely to be a chaser and I have a lot of time for Jim Culloty training chasers, so hoping this fellow will develop into a useful one this year at the top end of Irish jumps. 2.50 Flemenstar 10/11 and throw in Chelsea at 10/11 to stick it to an utterly useless Liverpool team at Stamford Bridge for yankee purposes.
Hello lads. Quite interested in Senior Again at 3/1 in the 1.35 at Limerick. Ran of 115 in his first run back over fences and performed better than his finishing position suggests. He has won off 110 over sticks and today, reverting to hurdles, races off 89 in a moderate event.Trip and ground are fine so he should go close. GL all
Apologies that Standing Ovation did not deserve one - I am not sure what happened as he went from cruising on the bridle to walking in about 50 yards with Matt Chapman expressing that it was like he was shot. I do know they had entered him for a 2m 4f race in the week but went for the 3 miler today but he went out like more than simply a non stayer.
Blimey!..that is a boil over. Senior Again ran ok but would preferred a faster pace...a few burnt fingers there, backed into 2's...no real excused though...couldn't quicken, like a lot of 'chasers returned to hurdles..Than Mangan Lass can ride. Looking forward to a nice safe return for Flemenstar. How often do these big potential superstars pick up injuries just when the world seems to be at their feet. No surprise the ref in the Citeh V Spuds match is wearing red.....Citeh two stonewallers waved away already.
