Any away point is good Although it may not feel so now, At Reading just maybe we could Have hoped for all three, but we know, No-one up here gives points away And we didn´t do ourselves proud, At no point was much of our play Worthy the win which would have wowed, Our travelling contingent there But as it was they just made do, With a draw which really seemed fair As neither side could turn the screw, But credit our defence again Another clean sheet on the day, And away from home too, and just when Did that happen last in a fray, I think it is safe to agree That rugged would describe this show, But pretty it can´t always be And from one point three points can grow, We know we can better this form Which does help, when all´s said and done, And we still sit there in the warm While others have still not yet won, But having seen Man U just win At Villa Park 3 - 2 today, Next week one more draw on the spin Would be satisfactory, I´d say. I'm sure all the sensible fans would have taken a draw before kick-off, it's only afterwards we can rue missing out on another two points!
I suspect that the draw was always the limit of our aspirations at Reading.If you get draws away to other teams in the bottom half of the table that is ok.At least we won't set a new record for the lowest points total in the Premiership.Derby are safe.
Hi RBF, well earned point, most welcomed. Have the feeling we are fast becoming the Stoke of today's Premier. Nothing inspiring in our play, just difficult to break down. No complaints, you have to learn to walk before you run. LOL. Regards to the King of Denmark.
