To be honest I dont think we will sign a striker unless we can get Beckford off the books. I think Nigel sees Nugent, Vardy and Waghorn as more then capable of scoring the goals. We are relying alot on people like King, Marshall, Knockaert, Dyer to chip in with their fair share again. 1 thing we will miss is the goals Gallagher gave us

marshall is desperately out of form.. his head is not there...im surprised nigel hasn't took him out altogether... surely somebody can do better than he is at the moment?
Typical - although in fairness, his ratio wasn't too bad for us last season, but no-one will question his finishing. A loan is possible from a Prem player that's not getting in the team. Yakubu came in for us half way through the season. Would love a signing like that in Jan or sooner! Jones strike rate may not be great in the Prem but this isn't the Prem. I'd have buried some of the chances spurned today and in other matches. Personally, I'd like us to make just the one permanent signing in Jan. We're one quality striker away from getting out of this division.
Take out all the FA Cup goals and Beckford only scored 9 goals. Vardy has already got 3 in the League so he is on course to beat that

Marshall looked so deflated today. I think it's really hurt him getting dropped. He needs to forget about that and fight for his place. I wasn't pleased with Knockhaert today and feel if Marshall can just sort himself out, he'll be back in.

DJ Campbell situation all over again. In Jan we shouldnt loan Beckford out again. Nigel either needs to sell him or make do with him. Use him sparingly but dont loan him to a team pushing the top 6

Maybe it is personal problems, but you have to get you're head down and get on. Look what happen to Billy Sharp. He just got his head down and got in with it. He didn't look great today by the way.
We played 45 minutes with 9 men hardly same as the 7-3 defeat to forest hard to carry on when you're best players broke his leg in 2 places n gone straight to hospital
