Do you remember that goal he got against Sunderland when he was struck on the back of the head totally unaware of where the ball was and went in off the bar?
Not a chance. City will win it for me with Chelsea 2nd. City still unbeaten and showing no signs of losing. United's win yesterday just highlighted how much the PL has declined
I remember the goal you are referring to but you clearly don't remember it very well. Maybe it's your old age or maybe it's because you're a moron? I understand why you wouldn't like Hernandez, he has a habit of making Chelsea look pretty ****ing stupid!
Not really. He's a **** player with no technical quality. Put him up against a side capable of defending and he won't score for ****, Fergie knows this hence why he brings Hernandez on against weak opposition or when opposition defenders are tiring late on in games. The only downside to man marking is that when subs are made there is often confusion over who marks the sub, which was case in point in 2 of the 3 goals he scored yesterday. Do you honestly think Hernandez would start in a league game against City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Everton or even Spurs?
I agree that technically he is not the best. His passing and link up play can be woeful but in the box he is a gem. He's a bit like Inzaghi in that respect. He is put on the pitch to do one thing and that is score goals which he's pretty good at! I suspect were he playing in your side he'd be notching a hell of a lot more than the £50million man. He will struggle to start games as we have the two top scorers from last season in our team. However, such is his goal scoring form that Fergie will struggle to leave him out right now. He definitely seems to have benefited from his first summer off in years and looks much sharper than last season. When we last won the title ie 2011 he was an automatic pick. I definitely recall him scoring against Chelsea in the first minute of a crucial game towards the end of the season. Either he started that game or Fergie made a very, very, very early substitution. Even if he does end up being a supersub for his entire United career I won't complain. Having a player on the bench who can come on and win you a game is a pretty nice luxury, don't you think? OGS was pretty good at that as well. If it's that easy to score goals against weaker opposition and tiring defences of stronger opposition like Chelsea then why aren't you doing it or does your current job pay you 50k a week? I love the fact that you clearly get frustrated watching a "****" player scoring goals for United! Hernandez scored in the first minute of the game that arguably won us the title in 2011. Opponents: Chelsea.
Vidic's goal won you the title, the game was over then. **** player was harsh. He is a very intelligent player to be fair but technically poor.
Its just that I dont remember him scoring against Sunderland, think your talking about the goal against Stoke but he clearly jumped and aimed for the ball.
Yes you're a genius. OK, you don't know the difference between Stoke and Sunderland but nonetheless you are one of the web's great football WUM! You clown!
Luckily Goons and Spuds are also dropping points. I think 3rd is a realistic target this season and hopefully we can build on a strong finish and a trophy or two come June. A striker is a necessity in Jan now.
