Well personally speaking, simply fighting for top 4 fills me with no optimism or happiness, even though I accept it's the best we can do, but simply facing that reality makes me so frustrated because I expect and want so much more from this team, I want to be challenging for honours and wining things, that's the level I believe we should aspire to, and the level I feel this club is at, not simply scrapping for a top 4 spot. It's frustrating as well because there's no progress being made, I could accept a few seasons ago we were in transition so we had to fight for top 4, but eventually I expected progress, but there is no progress happening, so it's very frustrating when you put it all together. I don't think it's fair at all to the fans, especially when this board and manager keep telling us how good we are and that we have very high ambitions when it's obvious that's not the case.
We badly need Walcott for the Spuds game. I hope Wenger does pull him out of the England game. I think Wilshere could do with an hour in that game as he's short of match time.
well, anyways, we're now 11 points behind United, so we've fallen further behind United, not that it mattered anyway because as I mentioned, we aren't capable of competing with them, but for those who still had some hope, hopefully they get a bit more realistic now as to the teams we're fighting.
