I'd love him to come on as a sub and make a little cameo appearance for either of the 2 home games just for the reception he'll get.
I want him to start playing next season when he's fully fit and has the full confidence that his leg can stand up to the rigours of the game. We're safe currently and there is no need to rush him back for the sake of a few minutes on the pitch.
Surely we would not be stupid enough to play someone who is not fully fit, especially after such a big injury. As long as he is 100% I'd love to see him play. We really miss him at the moment with our lack of quality in the final third.
i dont think its the fitness that's the problem its the match awareness and his confidence. just a quick reminder of what he can do http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oyITa2aZ_Ss
Doesn't really bother me if we see him this season although it would be great for him to get a few minutes so he can recieve a rousing reception The main priority is to get him 110% fully fit for next season
For people worried about the condition of his leg... it is true a break will make the leg stronger in the majority of cases. the bone actually heals quickly. the time consuming part is the re conditioning of the leg. as you cannot use the leg you lose alot of muscle growth and when you are ready to take the cast off your leg looks very light weight, now hes training again it should be fine and its probably a case of match fitness, i think the only worry is a muscular strain or pull. so i think he will be fine to have 20 minutes at home for the west brom game without a great deal of risk.
I would, if he's fit of course. I think he'd do a better job than Shola even if he was still on crutches.
