Morning all, mild and sunny here. ;)

Plenty to do this morning and afternoon if it stays dry. Free from my trips to the physio now, so can start to organize my life again. Next event a trip to the UK, but sadly no trip to the Vic. :(

I found this posting on another web site, and felt sad.

"I was so sorry to discover from Oliver Phillips column in the WO today, that our one time legendary manager Ken Furphy, is now in a care home suffering from dementia. Ken now 81, together with his son Keith attended a function in the club lounge in November 2010, and many feared that evening that he was not well."

Under his leadership we had some good times, I hope that he can still remember some of them.

Good day all, it's match day. ;)

Went on a trip this morning to stock up on some decent bottles that I can take to friends next week in the UK. Found some cases of a good chateau Bordeaux, and to my delight found that it was a special offer for today only of buy one case and get the second one free.

Was given a flyer as I walked into the cave for a football match tonight. Montmorillon v Limoges FC in the 7th round of the Coupe de France, kick off at 19h. Before that there is a U17 game at 17h. There is a bar and food available naturally, and admission to the two matches is €5. Maybe Watford could do a bit more to have people in the ground longer. Bring back the Silver Band perhaps? ;)

    Morning all

Shopping done, house cleaned, food prepared...and guests don't arrive until after Final Score. It promises to be a good day in most respects, only the Elland Road score is not already settled :emoticon-0112-wonde
