Who put the TURD in Saturday, the ARSE in Marseille and the **** in Scunthorpe? Bloody Thatcher, that's who. Becks time
The big handicap at Doncaster: VOODOO PRINCE 20/1 This is the real value of the race for my money. It is important to handle the conditions at this stage of the season and Voodoo Prince travelled beautifully in testing conditions at Ripon, found 10f insufficient at Goodwood and then ran much, much better than the bare result at Ascot latest, the penny really dropping close home, but all too late. I think this horse has taken a lot of patience but I feel the talent that we saw in glimpses in his two maidens might be coming to the fore and a good gallop in testing conditions here might really allow the race to drop right into his hands. The Cecil horse a rightful favourite but the value is with the Prince.
went to a chelts evening with brian hughes last year and he said this is the horse of the future, just seen highlights on C4 and it looked very elegant, and JM rode him beautifuly as for what i saw stay frosty
got paid 9/1. Was delighted when I got 7s earlier. On First Mohican here at 4s. Haven't even looked at the card, backed this the last 2 runs (thanks to PN) and I've bought into the hype.
Where's my German footy correspondant. Done a 6 team acca Oddy for a quid 80/1 just for a laugh this afternoon. Have blindly put Hoffenhiem to win at Fort Dussledorf because they used to be good and I haven't heard of the home team. What are my chances!!?
League selection Houblon and backed BOG but I'm pizzed off aboout it. Synopsis says that C4 were showing the 2-15 and 3-25 races so thought I'd be watching! Still - a win is a win I suppose! First Mohican my choice for the Nov. but what an open race. Does anyone else see Nicholas Copernicus and feel it should ne pronounced Nicholas Copper Knickers? Just me then
Just watched Overturn, very impressed with that, looked an absolute natural at his fences and put himself right when he needed to. A lovely introduction.
It would be somewhat fitting if Mark Johnston wins this with Party Line. Gutsy horse who won a handicap LTO and looks now like the handicapper has caught up with her but I've thought that before about Johnstone horses this season on a few occasions only for them to oblige and even win a couple more! All aboard the First Mo though
Both teams did well last weekend George - Hoffenheim beat Schalke and Fortuna Dusseldorf only lost 3-2 to Bayern Munich. Looks like one of those bottom-of-the-table matches which could go either way - best of luck
cheers oddy. sounds like i'm in with a chance, watch Sunderland scupper my acca by getting something at Goodison!
