If he takes to fences with his style of running I think he's going to be a real talent. Anyone racing against him will certainly have any chinks in their jumping and attitude tested. Too soon to talk of the Arkle?
KWALAH e/w in the next at Donny. Seriously hard task last time at a trip that stretched stamina, will enjoy a return to 10f.
If he's not an Arkle horse what's the point in switching him from hurdles to fences? He was 2nd in the Champion Hurdle last year for Christ sake. Seriously underrated and frequently disrespected horse.
Agreed Nass and BB now that he's over fences the emphasis is more on jumping and less on raw speed which I think was the thing he struggled with when Hurdling against the very best.
Surely King Of The Night worth a small interest at 15/2 here. Really promising comeback at Cheltenham and I think he will be seen to better effect at a different track today. Cannot wait for the 2:50 hurdle- Zarkander, Prospect Wells, and Balder Succes locking horns. Interesting that Nicholls says Zarkandar will need this so it will be a good measure of Prospect Wells and Balder Success' abilities against a half-fit Zarkandar. Personally I think Balder Success, if he stays on his feet, will win this easily- PW and Zark need 2 and a half miles IMO- they will be seen to better effect at Cheltenham. Balder Succes better right-handed on the evidence I saw last year.
