I aint gonna post a full match review because I'm tired as **** and just glad to be home.

I didn't get to the game till 10 mins in. Me and my dad thought we were gonna miss it as it was havoc for us to get to the stadium. I was just turning around to give my dad a hug in relief, then I turned back and it was 1-0 to Brugge....

It was like "Yes we ****ing made it mate....

    ...ffs man".

I really enjoyed the day out. Bruges is a really nice place. I rarely ever saw a fat person. Instead of bothering to buy cars, there's like thousands upon thousands of bikes for sale, everywhere.

The cheap booze and tobacco stories are horseshit now. 10 Euros for 2 pints of standard beer! 7 Euro's for a 200ml small bottle of voddy.

Needless to say I didn't spend any money on booze.

I really loved the game though. The way the Brugge and Toon fans had some fierce banter during the game, and then at the end clapped together, was great. The Brugge players clapped the toon fans. Proper class.

Anita really impressed me again. His performances when he first came here were a bit off, but he's always shown signs of class. He's started to potentially look a bargain for 6.7m. He intercepts passes well, he marks players well, he finds space very well, and his passing and attacking threat look decent, and can improve as he gets used to the game.

Sammy... Whenever I see this lad running towards and opponent with his long legs, I always think that he's just handed them the possession, but random bits of skills come out from no where. The lad is really impressing me, and he's shown he can do it at this level.

Glad you had a great experience Tash, you're a very lucky lad to have had a ticket, I guess the people who weren't as lucky would still have had a brilliant time, everyone said Brugge was amazing!<ok>

Heard a young drunken Geordie with too much Vodka and the local brew inside him had been ejected from the ground for using bad language. Thought it might have been you.

<laugh> I missed the first 30 minutes because I thought it started at 8pm!

Dammit Tash, I would change my username to Tash. and make the scores myself... But I've only got one name-change left now and I don't know what to use it on :emoticon-0138-think

<laugh> As long as you aren't advocating me getting a dishonorable discharge... Think that's some consequence of an aggressive STI!

Come on then Tash, we're still waiting for your ratings.

You know we're in the dark without them.

Even added a bit of rep for you in advance.

Glad you enjoyed it Tash - shame you didn't drinnk - we found beer was really cheap but not in the main square. Spirits were stupidly expensive though.

I also got caught out by how far away the stadium was and ended up running there - arrived about 5-10 mins in. My mates were in the corporate bit so I was on my own in the away end so got to know a few around me and had some good banter. Game wasn't great but celebrating the equaliser was fun and banter was top drawer. Anyone else see the hot female steward they put right in front of us toon fans? She got non stop abuse all game ha ha "Does she take it up the a***" etc - thankfully she took it all in good humour, was totally harsh on her.

After the game I managed to blag my way into the corporate bit with my mates and bumped into Chieck Tiote - so got a picture with him as a good momento. Beers were only 2 euros in corporate lounge so we then stayed there and got smashed - before a random middle-aged belgian couple gave us a lift back to the centre which was miles away.

All in all, a class weekend for me. Back in work today so suffering from it, but totally brilliant.
