I remember on numerous occasions clicking on the championship link of the BBC's or SS' website to check news etc only to be reminded of our league 1 status.

As a Derby fan, the missus took great pleasure in reminding me of our respective positions in the footballing pyramid that year, although this was shortlived as they proceeded to become the worst Prem side ever and we stormed to the title.

Have cried once concerning LCFC. The day I heard that the legend who was Keith Weller died. Was really pleased how the club reacted to his illness. Actually felt we are a family club.

Definitely brought a lump to my throat .. he was my old man's favourite player during the years that he got season tickets and started taking me with him - mine was Frankie Wortho (my mum's Jon Sammels!) ... but I came to appreciate just how good Weller was over the many years following my old man's death (1979) ... not until Lynex did we get another right winger of any quality (and Keith was far better) - Keith passing away brought back all the early memories I have of those years with the old man ..

When my chidren were born I cried
When the hospital called me up to go there to say goodbye to my very ill wife I cried (she didn't actually die, but that's not why I cried)
When my two-year old daughter suffered a terrible life changing accident I cried
When I was told by the hospital that my son had cancer I cried

I've never cried because of a football match - Been bloody pissed off though

You want to try living in Nottingham when it happened (remember, they got promoted when we went down!). I found most Derby fans were pretty quite on the subject since they became the worst Premier League team of all time that season.

The only good thing about the 2008 season was that neither Forest or Derby played any part in our relegation, a small consolation.

Nothing worse than something happening to your kids.

My son got impetigo when he was a baby, lost a third of his body skin, it was like third degree burns and we had to leave him in hospital for a week in a full body bandage, he never stopped screaming. Heartbreaking.

Can´t say I ever have over football. I´m normally quite ****** off if we lose & it puts me in a mood (ask the misses & kids)

It was a good win for Celtic but RS crying.. PLEASE.. If I was him I´d be crying over the state of sweaty sock football.

Roderick David Stewart was born at 507 Archway Road, Highgate, North London, the youngest of the five children of Robert Stewart and Elsie Gilbart.[13] His father was Scottish and had been a master builder in Leith, Edinburgh, while Elsie was English and had grown up in Upper Holloway in North London.[14] Married in 1928,[14] the couple had two sons and two daughters while living in Scotland, then they moved to Highgate.[13] Stewart came after an eight-year gap following his youngest sibling; he was born at home during World War II, half an hour after a German V-2 missile warhead fell on the local Highgate police station

Must have been the combination of his Father and the V2 Rocket!!

So he´s as much English as he is Sock, which i did´nt know & not sure I like, Socks just claim him because they have FA. It´s the same as Jamica & Bob Marley, he´s as much English as Jamican. While I´m on the subject watched a thing on TV about Henry Kissinger, never knew he was German. Got out of there at the right time.
