Re: Coloured Vinyl A couple i have spring to mind. Sound of the Suburbs, by the Members (Clear Vinyl). And Love Song by the Damned, in a mixture of colours that resembles puke. Both could of made my DID choice. I've kept all my vinyl records, couldn't part with them.
1. American Girl - Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers (first love, stateside.. love you Jackie always will..) 2. Made of Stone - Stone Roses (perfection delivered during that floaty guitar part...) 3. Smells Like Teen Spirit - Nirvana (1991 club dancefloor somewhere in Derby.. a real WTF??? moment) 4. Sugar Magnolia - The Grateful Dead (from the most beautiful album..) 5. History - The Verve (heartbroken in Turkey) 6. Andmoreagain - Love (and you feel your heart beating boom boom boom boom, love you Derya) 7. Angie - Rolling Stones (can't listen to it really..) 8. Morning Glory - Oasis (and after all that, if you need a track to make you feel good..) album - The Doors 1st book - Lord of the rings luxury - like Erik, the pool table (english 8-ball of course)
would that be a battery radio or clockwork. would nt matter anyway as there wouldnt be a signal. (unless it was our 'local' radio station and you were deserted in kings lynn or somewhere)
Just to clarify, Kirsty's rules are: 1) one shot only the 8 you d choose 2) only one record of the 8 to be saved 3) a book 4) and a luxury (Hard in't it?)
I forgot the book and the luxury. For the book I'd go for Vagabond by AP Wolf(available from all good book shops) and for the luxury, I'd go for 500 bottles of Jack Daniels(you never know how long you'll be on that island).
