Cole wasn't very good in his last couple of seasons at Chelsea. He obviously peaked early.

My brain can't be as tiny as the Liverpool scouts, management team and money men who didn't spot that Cole was on a downwards spiral when they agreed to pay him 100k a year on a long contract! Or as tiny as the Liverpool fans who thought it was a cracking free signing! And certainly not as tiny as Gerrard's with his Messi comparisons.

Now get back to frothing at the mouth and rowing with your United supporting parents!<ok>

Check your facts. Its £90k. Well at least Brendan Rodgers never signed a centre-back for £10 million that Woy Hodgson paid the price of a packet of cigarettes for.

Its £90k and it has always been £90k, similar to the £22.5 million you spent on Phil Jones which you continue to deny.

    Wrong.
Kenny offered £20 million and Blackburn made Baconface pay £22.5 million including add-ons which make up part of the the £22.5 million. Seeing as he's slower than Jamie Carragher(who is almost 35 btw), you will be lucky to get £2.25 million for ''Bambi on ice''.

OK KPR, your inside knowledge of United's transfer dealings is remarkable. Both Blackburn and Manchester United must have been trying to create some kind of a smokescreen by claiming it was £16million. Anyway, as you said you wouldn't want him at Anfield such is the kwality of your squad so a lucky escape for Liverpool.

Or you're just a bitter twat!

We had a lucky escape signing the young player of Copa America 2011 for just £4.9 million.

Indeed you did. I am very envious of most of your squad.

Apparently you are as most of your time seems to be spent talking about our squad, analyzing our squad, looking at our squad, watching our games, posting on our board and attempting to wind up our fans.

As for Joe Cole, i'm not certain he's ever going to leave. He should never have been given a chance again after his abysmal showing against Swansea, not to mention the tens of other chances he got. But everyone seems to think that "next time" he might, just might play well. And he doesn't. But he gets another chance. And another. And soon enough it's 2014 and they extend his contract because he might be good next season. Same with Downing.
