Going by AKCJ 's logic of using ancient history Leicester City are a pimple sized Club compared to Nottingham Forest .

Which of course is NOT the case at this moment in time ..

Personally I don't care if we are bigger or smaller then other teams and I doubt if many Hull fans or Leicester fans do either ..

I'm not someone who dwells on the past, it's been 12 years since Leicester won anything so why would I?

Forest are probably a bigger club than us though but it's a shame that the City ground isn't attracting the fans they used to. It used to be good going there with fans who actually sing back. Last season we had half the attendance for an F.a. cup game.

But, one thing they do sing, 'It's Forest and Derby, you're all on your own' <ok> and we know that.

Doesn't stop them going mental when they beat us though, does it <laugh>

Which reminds me, what's the bet that L1 sing 'You used to be English, you're not anymore?' <laugh>

Very amusing ... we are, of course, all part of the same footballing family ..eeeeeyuk. - No I'm not related but that doesn't mean that I automatically dismiss everything he posts on our board as being deliberately inflamatory etc indeed I can't find much that I disagree with on this thread - I try to retain a balanced view and comment accordingly - or aspire to the words of Rudyard Kipling

"If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
' Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch,
if neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;"

This allows me to keep some perspective, even with my cousin who lives just off Heath Lane in Barwell and given the relatively small gene pool in that area and rather individual characteristic traits... may well be related to you!

you saying that I may possibly be some sort of inbred? Typical response. I actually think you may be OLMs alter ego, or maybe vacate to Southend together to relive old times. As for Kipling - best thing Kipling ever did was cakes. More of a Dickens or S King person myself. As for the inbred quip - **** off!

Chill pill Barwell ... I have a cousin an uncle and an aunt all living in Barwell ... any quip I make is self-deprecating as, by inference, I'm included ..

I didn't particularly mean that Hull were the 'Top side' in Yorkshire, I shouldn't have used that as a description, I was meaning that we have seen a hell of a lot more success in the last 10 years than TWS have.

    Just to clarify! <laugh>

Because L**ds have been used to top 6 of the Premier League for a long time now, total established European side are TWS. Oh wait... That was a long time ago wasn't it?

Hull where in the Prem 2010
Leeds where in League one 2010

Who had the most successful year?

Going by what i've read on here Hull fans would say Hull because you where in the prem.

It wasn't a comeback. It was mere wit against your apparent familiarity with top 6 Premier League football...
