Yeah and a select few Southampton fans threw coins and bottles at Henderson (our goalie) in the derby at Fratton Park, your point?

 

Every team has its share of hooligans, some have worse reputations than others (Millwall fans come to mind) and our fans aren't exactly innocent either. I chose a team off of the top of my head and with Pompey being our "rivals", you came to mind first.

Just think of a 5/8" - 3/4" lead ball bearing with one side slightly flattened off as though it had hit something.

Are you sure it couldnt be an away fan, i work with lead very often being a roofer, and know that you can throw a small bit of lead a good old distance.

Apologies, it's remiss of me but someone just reminded me that I hadn't closed this one off.

The long and short of it is that the police and the club reviewed CCTV footage at the time (I could be very exact on that one) and unfortunately, the launch area most likely wasn't being covered at the time, so there's no way of identifying the low life.

On the assumption that he doesn't come on here I'll let you know that tomorrow I'm going to leaflet people in the most likely seats it came from and imply that there IS some coverage but we're tracking down the exact seat. Hopefully it'll put the fear of God into the idiot that he might be caught and make him think twice next time, which is the best I can hope for. Couldn't do it for the Spurs match as we didn't get there thanks to a double booking by the current Mrs Onionman.

Hey Vin.............. Sorry to hear you haven't caught the culprit.......There is quite a few from the Northam end that do post on here. So god forbid that the Idiot trys again there will at least be a few more eyes Watching out for such an Idiot. Especially if you do do a leaflet drop around the Area. Cheers
